PG: Donovan Mitchell, UTA – Mike Conley has been ruled out for today’s game which means we should get the return of “Point Donny”. When Conley is off the floor we see Mitchell in much more of a playmaker roll with the ball in his hands. On the season, Mitchell has been solid, averaging 20.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game. A cheaper pivot here would be Jordan Clarkson if you want to save a little bit of money.

SG: Will Barton, DEN – I put in yesterday’s playbook that while we all are waiting for the Michael Porter Jr. breakout game it has been Will Barton that is having a strong start to his season. The veteran wing can play multiple positions for the Nuggets and is instant offense. He has cracked 30 FP in all but one game this season while filling up the stat sheet, averaging 16.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.

SF: Josh Giddey, OKC - Giddey up! Ok, jokes aside, I have been touting this kid all offseason and he has been everything I could have hoped for to start the season. He notched his second double-double of the season against the Lakers the other night and despite being limited to 27 minutes against the Warriors two games prior he still gave us 27.75 DK points. Giddey will fill the stat sheet and is averaging 10.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.4 blocks per game while shooting 44.9% from the floor and 38.5% from three-point range.

PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL – Top priced play on the slate. He only put up 47 FP in this same matchup a few games back, but he has also since put up games of 62 and 78 fantasy points. If he pops off like this and you don’t have him in your lineup it is unlikely you are finishing in the green.

C: Jonas Valanciunas, NOP – Brandon Ingram is out for tonight’s game which means we could see even more of the offense flow through Valanciunas who is having a tremendous start to his 2021 season with the Pelicans. The big man is averaging 18.2 points, 14.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steals per game.  The Knicks are beatable at the center position with the foul happy Mitchell Robinson manning the position.
