This is an extremely interesting Game 2 between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves because Stephen Curry is not available. He didn't play the second half of Game 1 and the Warriors still held on, but what will things look like from jump street without Curry and Minnesota having a plan to shut them down.

Warriors vs. Timberwolves NBA DFS Showdown Picks: MVP & Captain

Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves - $18,000 DK, $23,100 FD

Another Minnesota Timberwolves player that cant make any shots – at least in didn't in Game 1 – but even in that light, Edwards put up 52 DKP. He's failed to scored fewer than 58 DKP in four straight games. He has the highest ceiling of anyone for your captain slot because when the shot is falling, he's going to put up a LOT of FP.

Jimmy Butler, Golden State Warriors - $16,800 DK, $22,800 FD

Since returning from injury, Butler's been fantastic and has played monster minutes nightly. He's going to pick up a lot of the offensive burden from Stephen Curry's absence. Without Curry this postseason, Butler has a 32% USG and averages 1.6 FP/min. It's between Butler and Edwards with who will be the highest owned.

Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors - $12,600 DK, $14,700 FD

The story remains the same for Draymond Green; if and when he makes shots he has a massive ceiling and we saw that in Game 1 of this series. He could play Rudy Gobert off the court once again.

Naz Reid, Minnesota Timberwolves - $9,900 DK, $9,900 FD

It was a great showing from Naz Reid in Game 1 and it looks like, in games in which Draymond Green  makes shots, Rudy Gobert will not play as much as Reid will. Also, Reid was one of the few standouts offensively and actually made shots in Game 1.

Buddy Hield, Golden State Warriors - $11,400 DK, $9,600 FD

Can you rely on Buddy Hield to continue to make shots like he has, because he's been awesome. Hield's minutes are on the rise, the play has been great, and if you play Hield at captain it allows you to get up to Butler and Edwards comfortably.

UTIL NBA DFS Showdown Plays For Thursday

Julius Randle, Minnesota Timberwolves - $9,600 DK, $10,800 FD

This postseason, Julius Randle is second in both FP/min and usage, which is right on par with how the regular season looked as well. He didn't look great in Game 1, but look for a more aggressive version of him in Game 2. He could be used as a captain as well.

Jaden McDaniels, Minnesota Timberwolves - $7,200 DK, $7,000 FD

There have been some massive games out of Jaden McDaniels this postseason but he has an incredibly wide range of outcomes. He's scored as high as 42.75 DKP and as low as 13.75. In any game he's stayed out of foul trouble in, he's played 38+ minutes in.

Brandin Podziemski, Golden State Warriors - $7,000 DK, $7,600 FD

It's been a wildly inconsistent postseason for Brandin Podziemski but they need him to be at his best without Stephen Curry on the floor. Podz has sat at .54 FP/min this playoff run without Stephen Curry on the floor. He's fine as a last piece in but that's pretty bad.

Donte DiVincenzo, Minnesota Timberwolves - $6,200 DK, $5,800 FD

Mike Conley continues to start. Donte DiVincenzo continues to play more. He'll eventually make shots, too, because he's better than how he's shot the ball.
