The only thing bad about this game is that all East Coast dads are going to fall asleep with the clicker in their hands due to the fact that the tip-off isn’t scheduled until 11 pm ET. The Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors both have title aspirations and check into this October matchup relatively healthy and at full strength. It is worth mentioning that the Warriors are on the second leg of a back-to-back, however. The game doesn’t lack star power, however, as Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden take the floor. Let’s dive into the breakdown!

DFS Captain / MVP Picks

James Harden, LAC

(DK CPT - $14,100, UTIL - $9,400 / FD CPT - $19,800, UTIL - $13,200)

Oh, James Harden sits at 1.4 DP/min again this year? You don’t say. James Harden’s an elite fantasy asset and gets the Warriors on the second leg of a back-to-back. Love him here.

Kawhi Leonard, LAC

(DK CPT - $12,600, UTIL - $8,400 / FD CPT - $18,300, UTIL - $12,200)

After a brutal opening night, Kawhi Leonard has cooked in each of the last two games and is now leading the team in usage rate. Leonard enters tonight’s game with a 27.8% USG and is averaging 1.2 FP/min on both DK and FD.

Stephen Curry, GSW

(DK CPT - $15,000, UTIL - $10,000 / FD CPT - $20,400, UTIL - $13,600)

It’s been an incredible start to the season for Stephen Curry. He has a 29.4% USG and averages 1.5 FP/min. He has a tough assignment against all of the Clippers' wing defenders that will be chasing him around tonight, but that hasn’t stopped him his entire career.

DFS Utility Picks

Ivica Zubac, LAC

(DK CPT - $11,700, UTIL - $7,800 / FD CPT - $13,500, UTIL - $9,000)

We didn’t get to see what the Clippers center rotation would truly look like in the first two games because they weren’t competitive, but in game number three, he played 35 minutes to Brook Lopez’s 13. It’s cut and dry; Zubac’s job and Lopez is the clear backup. Zubac is over 1 FP/min thus far.

Jimmy Butler, GSW

(DK CPT - $13,200, UTIL - $8,800 / FD CPT - $17,700, UTIL - $11,800)

It’s hard to trust Jimmy Butler as a captain, so he slots in here as a UTIL play. Sometimes he’s fully engaged offensively, like he was in the first two games of the year, and sometimes he’s just playing in the flow and letting others cook. That can definitely happen on a team with Stephen Curry.

Jonathan Kuminga, GSW

(DK CPT - $11,100, UTIL - $7,400 / FD CPT - $12,900, UTIL - $8,600)

It was the Jonathan Kuminga show on Monday as he put up 25 points and 10 rebounds and went for 40+ FP for the second time this year. Kuminga actually is a sneaky captain option now that his role is pretty secure. Although his USG sits at 21.4%, he’s second on the team at 1.1 FP/min this season.

John Collins, LAC

(DK CPT - $11,100, UTIL - $6,400 / FD CPT - $12,900, UTIL - $8,600)

The minutes for John Collins off the bench have been amazing. 24 or more in all three games and has played 26-plus twice. He’s scored at least 10 points, six rebounds, and 23.5 DKP in each game he’s played in thus far.

DFS Dart Throws

  • Bogdan Bogdanovic, LAC (DK CPT - $4,200, UTIL - $2,800 / FD CPT - $3,600, UTIL - $2,200)
  • Moses Moody, GSW (DK CPT - $7,500, UTIL - $5,000 / FD CPT - $5,700, UTIL - $3,800)
  • Kris Dunn, LAC (DK CPT - $4,800, UTIL - $3,200 / FD CPT - $4,200, UTIL - $2,800)
