NBA DFS Showdown CPT/MVP Top Plays

James Harden, Los Angeles Clippers

James Harden has been on an absolute tear as of late. Harden has scored over 40 fantasy points in five of his last six games. Both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard have been in and out of the lineup, and Harden has needed to be more aggressive. His floor every single night comes from his assists as he has had at least nine in five of his last six. Harden is very safe heading into this one, the only problem is if this turns out into a blowout, how much does he play in the second half?

Terry Rozier, Charlotte Hornets

Terry Rozier is the the alpha on this Hornets team with LaMelo Ball out with an injury. The best part of it as well, is the fact that he is game-script-proof. Even in blowouts, we have seen Rozier play 30+ minutes still. In his last 10 games, Rozier has scored over 40 fantasy points in nine of those games. The floor really is just great, and that is why he is my top captain play tonight.

NBA DFS Showdown UTIL Top Plays

Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers

George has been very solid over this last 10 games. During that span, he has scored fewer than 40 fantasy points in six of those games and only went under 30 once. Kawhi Leonard is questionable heading into this one, which hasn't mattered much to George this season as his numbers say close to the same, but actually take a small dip. Like all of the Clippers stars tonight, this could be a rough night if this game gets out of hand early.

Miles Bridges, Charlotte Hornets

Like Rozier, Bridges is going to play a ton of minutes no matter the game script. Bridges has played at least 31 minutes in every game he has played this season. He will be solid for you at the least, with him averaging 19.5 shots per game. The type of volume gives such an outstanding floor, that he should be auto-locked into your lineup.

P.J. Washington, Charlotte Hornets

Any time you play P.J. Washington you are getting on a roller coaster. This a guy who can get you 50 fantasy points in any game, but he also can get you 15 or even less. His ceiling depends on most nights what he is going to do on the defensive end of the court. In two of his last three games, he scored 39 and 44 fantasy points, he had four steals in each of those games. I do not expect that to happen tonight, but if he starts to shoot better, he could still be solid.

Ivica Zubac, Los Angeles Clippers

It has been a bit rockier for Ivica Zubac as of late, after being so consistent for an eight-game stretch earlier in the season. He has not played over 30 minutes in his last five games. However, during that span, he has still been solid outside of a 14 fantasy point performance the other night when he played just 17 minutes. It's his rebounding that gives him a solid floor and he should have no issues in that department tonight.

Mark Williams has been out for some time but is questionable heading into this one. Nick Richards has been starting at center, and he is someone Zubac can take advantage of.

Nick Richards, Charlotte Hornets

While Richards is someone that Zubac can attack tonight, Richards is someone we should be attacking for our lineups. He is coming off a huge game against the Nuggets in which he grabbed 15 rebounds and added 12 points to have his second double-double in three games. If Williams is out once again in this one, Richards is only priced at $5,600 and should be in our lineups.

NBA DFS Showdown UTIL Top Plays

Norman Powell, Los Angeles Clippers

Norman Powell is consistently seeing solid minutes off of the bench. He has seen at least 23 in 11 games, but it has still been a roller coaster over that time. However, if you look over his last five, he has been much more consistent outside of the clunker in his last game which was a blowout against the Celtics. In the four games prior to that, he scored over 20 fantasy points. There is some danger here that he won't play a ton if this game gets out of hand, but with this slate not having much value on it, you might need to take the gamble.

Daniel Theis, Los Angeles Clippers

If you are thinking this one will be a blowout, Daniel Thies is your guy and he is just $3,600 on DraftKings. In the last two blowout games for the Clippers, he has played 21 and 22 minutes scoring 18.25 and 20 fantasy points. We have also seen him go bigger than that this season as well. If you are looking for a dart throw option, Theis may be your best option.

Brandon Boston is also an intriguing start throw if Leonard is ruled out. He has played 13 and 16 minutes in those two and got up 16 shot attempts between the two.
