Celtics vs Knicks NBA DFS Picks For DraftKings & FanDuel - Fri, 5/16

The Boston Celtics fought off elimination with a great Game 5 win against the New York Knicks, but now the two teams travel to Madison Square Garden with the Knicks one win away from the conference finals. Can Boston continue to extend the series or will the Knicks start prepping for a conference finals matchup with the Pacers?

Celtics vs Knicks NBA DFS Showdown Picks: MVP & CaptainÂ
Jaylen Brown - $15,600 DK, $20,700 FD
Can Jaylen Brown play as well as he did in Game 5 in Game 6? He was incredible and fell just two rebounds shy of a triple-double while also scoring 26 points. He's always good without Jayson Tatum, but they need a repeat performance in Game 6.
Jalen Brunson - $16,200 DK, $19,800 FD
Game 5 was incredibly weird for Jalen Brunson because he played fairly well offensively but he had FIVE fouls in the third quarter and fouled out in just 33 minutes. He had been playing incredibly well prior to that putting up 66 DKP in Game 4. Brunson's been the Knicks best player bar none.
Derrick White - $14,700 DK, $16,200 FD
Derrick White was SHOOTING in Game 5 and he's played extremely well offensively in this series. Nothing like Game 5, obviously, but that game was the first without Jayson Tatum and they're going to be reliant on White again without Tatum.
Payton Pritchard - $10,800 DK, $7,500 FD
Here's an underrated captain option. Payton Pritchard's going to play monster minutes in Game 6 like we saw in Game 5 without Jayson Tatum. Pritchard took 17 shots, is well over 1 FP/min without Tatum this year and he allows you to get a LOT in your lineup. If his shot is falling, he has a massive ceiling.

UTIL NBA DFS Showdown Plays For Friday
Josh Hart, New York Knicks - $8,400 DK, $9,200 FD
My absolute favorite spots to play Josh Hart in are smaller slates. He has an extreme range of outcomes because he's a triple-double threat nightly, but also when he can't make shots, his floor is the basement.
Karl-Anthony Towns, New York Knicks - $10,000 DK, $11,600 FD
This has been a FINE series for Karl-Anthony Towns, but nothing special. Towns is a FINE option here, but nothing special. He's a damn expensive UTIL option, I will say that.
Mikal Bridges, New York Knicks - $8,200 DK, $7,400 FD
Much like the regular season, Mikal Bridges has been inconsistent in this series, posting 36+ DKP in three of five games and scoring less than 21 in the other two. Both games they've lost, Bridges has stunk. Interesting dynamic.
OG Anunoby, New York Knicks - $8,000 DK, $6,800 FD
Lets face it; OG Anunoby has had a terrible series since Game 1. Since Game 1, three times he's scored less than six points and has made no more than two field goals in a game. They HAVE to have a better version of Anunoby.
Al Horford, Boston Celtics - $6,400 DK, $5,400 FD
Look, there are a lot of paths to Al Horford being awesome here. Kristaps Porzingis looks unplayable, at least for an extended period of time. Can Luke Kornet do what he did in Game 5? It's possible, but it's more likely that Horford is the front court member for the Celtics that plays the most and the best.
