Happy Thursday, October 30th, we have a 4-game NBA DFS main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel.

It's the second week of the NBA season and the first big slate of the year with 4 games on the docket. Despite it being a smaller slate, there is plenty of star power with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama, and Giannis Antetokounmpo taking the floor.

Before actually diving into the meat and potatoes, welcome to the NBA DFS season. If this is your first time reading our column on NBA DFS picks, I just want to welcome you and give you a few tips and tricks on what you should be looking for each night.

News outlets: reliable sources that give us injury news & starting lineups
Pace of play: who's playing fast vs. who's playing slow. Which teams get a pace-up spot (more possessions) vs. pace-down (fewer possessions)
Usage rates: is a percentage of how many plays that player is being used in

Jalen Suggs officially ruled OUT & Franz Wagner pops on the injury report as QUEST.
On 10/25, Suggs sat and we saw: Tyus Jones start (14.5 minutes) & Anthony Black off bench (30 mins)
In that game, Black had a 26% USG and without Suggs this year, he has a 23.3% USG
Tristan da Silva played nearly 24 minutes off the bench, too, posting an 18.5% USG. I like that and he's in my player pool.
IF Wagner sits; Banchero (61 mins); 36.4% USG - Bane (36 mins); 36% USG - Black (46 mins) 21.6% USG
Update - 6:40 pm ET
Sion James has a 10% USG. Prefer Pelle Larsson tbh.
