Welcome back to the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! We have an eight-game slate on tap for tonight, so let’s dive into the value plays!
DRAFTKINGS
1.) Keldon Johnson (SAS) $5,800
Keldon has won me back over lately and he has been playing really well. KJ has now topped 34 fantasy points in three of his last four games and has played 31 or more minutes in those contests as well. Two double-doubles, two steals, and a block have really helped pad his fantasy production, not to mention scoring 17 or more actual in those three of four to boot. He gets a good matchup here tonight at home against a Memphis team that has not played in quite a while. I really like the spot here for KJ.
2.) Lonzo Ball (NOP) $5,000
Ball went nuts last night against the Bucks in route to 47.3 DraftKings fantasy points on 27 actual, three boards, eight dimes, and a steal. He shot the ball 20 times and made ten, also going 7-of-13 from the arc. His price went down $300 for this slate today and he gets a much better matchup in this one with the Rockets at home. This is another pace-up spot for the Pelicans and another cheap price on Ball. Playing 35 minutes last night after being a game-time call all day yesterday before being ruled in, seems that Ball is just fine.
3.) Xavier Tillman (MEM) $3,500
Looks like DraftKings literally did no due diligence for the Memphis plays on this slate and because of it we get Tillman here at near min-price on DraftKings as a result. Before MEM missed a slew of games due to health and safety protocols, Tillman had played 28 and 29 minutes in the prior two games and put up 31 and 25 DraftKings fantasy points as well. The best part, Jonas Valanciunas is slated to sit this game tonight, so this should allow extended run here for Tillman.
FANDUEL
1.) Mason Plumlee (DET) $5,500
I think Plumlee is a value at Center today on FanDuel at his price. For one, Golden State continues to get absolutely trashed by opposing Centers and Plum is fresh off a 35-fantasy point outing on FanDuel against the Lakers in just 26 minutes with a 17-point, ten-board double-double with two assists, and a block. He has now put up 29 and 35 FanDuel fantasy points in his last two games.
2.) Josh Hart (NOP) $4,100
If you read my playbook yesterday, I made a good argument why I thought Hart was a nice value play on yesterday’s slate. Well, he notched out 31.5 FanDuel fantasy points in 24 minutes on the floor with 15 actual, five boards, five dimes, and a steal. He gets another pace-up spot here at home against a bad defensive Rockets team and he is even cheaper today than he was yesterday. Ride the value train while it’s hot, as Hart has now put up two 30-fantasy point efforts in his last four games over on FanDuel.
3.) Anfernee Simons (POR) $3,600
Simons continued his extended minutes run with McCollum still on the shelf last time out against the Rockets in HOU as he played another 28 minutes in route to 14 actual and eight rebounds for 22 FanDuel fantasy points. It was nice to see the rebounding numbers, and he is already a good source of points. He has now played 23, 29, and 28 minutes in his last three games while putting up 22, 32, and 21 FanDuel fantasy points as a result. He gets another great matchup against a weak CHI defense tonight.
