Nikola Vucevic has been a regular in this column, but we took our first under in his most recent match. It was not a wise move, why doubt The Well? Vucevic and the Chicago Bulls are playing the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena, and Vucevic has an opportunity for a big night.

There are two great rebounders in this match, but with the trade deadline looming Vucevic will be displayed as the most lucrative Bulls player. He is just shy of a 20-10 double-double (19.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game), and there are several teams in need of upgrading their center position. 

Detroit only allows 51.0 rebounds per game, but have allowed an average of 55.7 rebounds over their last three games. They also allow more rebounds on their homecourt, an average of 52.3. 

Vucevic just needs his average against a currently bad rebounding team. He’s bigger than Jalen Duren and more athletic than Isaiah Stewart. Put a unit on The Well to deliver with 11 or more rebounds.

 

 

 

Clippers vs Raptors Prediction: Scottie Barnes Over 7.5 Rebounds (-120 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

The Los Angeles Clippers travel internationally, and play at the Scotiabank Center against the Toronto Raptors. Los Angeles has been on a roll, winners of two in a row and seven of their last ten. The Clippers are a quiet monster, poised for a deep playoff run. 

The Toronto Raptors are playing their best basketball of the season. Despite a loss in their most recent match, they have won seven of their last ten games. Scottie Barnes is a large part of their success, and their most decorated player. He will be needed as Toronto is +6 underdogs at home.

He will be able to bang against Ivica Zubac, and maneuver with Kawhi Leonard. Leonard and Zubac are excellent rebounders, and that has caused Barnes’ rebounding line to dip to 7.5. The lowest it has been in 2025, and we will take advantage of it.

Barnes has eight or more rebounds in seven of his last ten games, and has ten or more in four of his last six matches. He also has eight or more rebounds in his last three home games, and four of his last five games in Toronto.

Due to the fact that Luka Doncic is no longer in Dallas, Kyrie Irving will be given the reins of the Mavericks.

He made the NBA Finals clinching field goal, he is a first overall- rookie of the year Cavalier… put simply he will forever be a hero in Cleveland. 

His confidence, and his comfort level must be at an all-time high, and rising to the moment has never been an issue for Irving. Instead of risking the points, put money on Irving scoring from the perimeter. It will be difficult going into the paint and scoring on Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, the three point line will be enticing.
