Another two-out-of-three correct bets yesterday, and that means Meat Loaf. A profit of 0.89 units is added to the tally as the Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets steadily work to the goal of forty units gained. Precious Achiuwa had a rebound with a put back taken away due to a foul away from the ball. Had that happened, the double-double would have happened, and a sweep would have taken place on Saturday. Yet daily profits are the goal and they were achieved ‘because two out of three ain’t bad’. It is Sunday and there is a loaded slate of NBA games today, with 11 in total. The full day of games begins with a nationally televised game on ABC with a 1:00 PM ET tip-off. There are four nationally televised games, two on ABC and two on ESPN. Today’s wagers are player prop bets on three games; Dallas Mavericks at Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs at Utah Jazz, and one same game parlay on the Los Angeles Lakers at Phoenix Suns. Four bets with statistics behind their numbers and the Bet of the Night is on arguably the hottest player since the All-Star Break.

NBA BET FOR FEBRUARY 25TH

MICHAEL PORTER JR. OVER 6.5 REBOUNDS (-115 DraftKings Sportsbook)

Michael Porter Jr. has been the hottest player since the All-Star Break. Well maybe it is Nikola Jokic with two triple-doubles since returning, but MPJ was the leading point scorer for the Denver Nuggets in their last game. He has also had a double-double in each game with a combined 56 points and 23 rebounds. If there is one truth about Porter Jr. it is that when he is hot, he is scorching. He once covered his three-points made prop in all but one game in a four-week stretch. Porter Jr. is listed as a forward, but capable of playing like a guard or a center. He has been exploiting mismatches and something must have popped out in film study, because he has been much more aggressive to start the last third of the season. The Golden State Warriors host the Denver Nuggets tonight, and they allow the 11th-most rebounds to opposing small forwards. The Warriors also allow 50.9 rebounds per game, allow slightly more at home with 51.9 rebounds, and are allowing an average of 52.3 in their last three games. Porter Jr averages over seven per game and should have no difficulty reaching his average tonight against the much smaller and older Warriors. You can watch this game on ESPN beginning at 7:00 PM ET.

NBA PLAYER PROP BETS FOR FEBRUARY 25TH

MYLES TURNER OVER 6.5 REBOUNDS (-145 DraftKings Sportsbook)

Another rebounding prop for the Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets and it is on the starting center of the Indiana Pacers, Myles Turner. The highest rebounding line for this game comes from Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic with 8.5. The next highest is on Pacers teammates Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam with 6.5 each. The Mavericks allow the second-most rebounds to opposing teams with an average of 54.5 per game. They allow more rebounds when on the road, 55.2, and have allowed an average of 56.0 in their last three games. Turner has covered this prop in three of his last four games, and has a season average of seven per game. He does spend some time around the perimeter but Rick Carlisle will utilize his big men against a team he knows well. Dereck Lively of the Dallas Mavericks is back and playing well, but a rotation with Daniel Gafford has also been utilized. Turner has size and experience over Lively and Gafford, and should utilize both on his way to seven or more rebounds. These two teams also play with a fast pace, going back and forth with transition basketball. This also aids the over in rebounds for a center playing over 27 minutes per game.

VICTOR WEMBANYAMA OVER 2.5 BLOCKS (-160 DraftKings Sportsbook)

The rookie is back for another appearance in this column, and we are riding the exact same line, at slightly different odds. The San Antonio Spurs continue their road tour and will play the Utah Jazz beginning at 8:00 PM ET. Utah is a tough place for teams to play at with the second-highest elevation in the NBA. There was a suggestion of a double-unit slam on this bet two days ago and Victor Wembanyama covered it early in the fourth quarter. Wembanyama has 33 blocks in nine games this month and should continue swatting attempts against a team with great scorers. The most profitable bet this year looks to keep stacking the units and building the bankroll. The stats for this bet have been mentioned over and over again, but put simply we trust this bet, as the bookies refuse to come off of 2.5 for his block line. The odds are not great, but with it being the last day of the betting week no double unit is needed. It’s just a means to stack our units and end with a positive count.

SAME GAME PARLAY LA LAKERS @ PHOENIX SUNS

KEVIN DURANT OVER 24.5 POINTS, LEBRON JAMES OVER 19.5 POINTS, ANTHONY DAVIS OVER 9.5 REBOUNDS (+105 Fanatics Sportsbook); 0.5 UNITS

The Los Angeles Lakers play the Phoenix Suns and it is broadcasted nationally on ABC at 3:30 PM ET. It is an afternoon game and it is a delight as two of the best face off again. It is uncertain how many more times we will be able to witness Kevin Durant vs. LeBron James, but however few there are should be cherished and bet on. This is a fun same game parlay placed on Fanatics Sportsbook (formerly PointsBet), and there is also a 50% boost available to utilize. This bet is teased down across the board. Durant has been moved down from 29.5 points to 24.5, James has been moved from 23.5 points to 19.5 points, and Anthony Davis’ rebounding line has moved from 12.5 down to 9.5. The Suns do not play any defense as was evident in their last game against the Dallas Mavericks and most of their games this season. James is averaging 24.9 points and should get to 20 against a soft defense. Durant is averaging 28.1 this season and looks like he is in late season rhythm. Davis is averaging 12.2 rebounds per game and he will have a tough assignment against Jusuf Nurkic. Davis is listed as questionable with spasms, but has 13 or more rebounds in his last four games played. This is a fun same game parlay, at positive odds, that gives us something to root for in a game everyone has access to watch. It is a three-fold same game parlay and as with most parlays a 0.5 unit wager is recommended.

Enjoy a brilliant day of NBA action with nationally televised games from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM ET. The defenses are buckling down and the referees are allowing a little more contact. We have arrived to the best part of the regular season.
