Welcome to the “new normal” in the NBA where we have a six…errr…five game slate full of inactive due to Covid-19 protocols and a bunch of value tier plays that will make or break your lineup because they are going to get that increased playing time out of necessity.

We will also have the introduction of numerous players who have just recently joined teams that may not even be in tonight's player pool like Lance Stephenson for example who is on the Atlanta Hawks and eligible to play tonight with the likes of Trae Young, Kevin Huerter, Clint Capela, Danilo Gallinari and more all ruled out.

Atlanta does have some of the top end plays on today's slate given their matchup against the Magic with today's cover boy John Collins leading the way but we should also look to Delon Wright and Cam Reddish for upside here with even the possibility of Bogdan Bogdanovic assuming he plays and is not limited.

Their opponent tonight in the Orlando Magic is also dealing with their share of issues as they start Hassani Gravett at point guard with their entire backcourt essentially ruled out. The team also signed Tim Frazier to a 10-day contract and he too is active for tonight's slate. With Wendell Carter and Mo Bamba also ruled out the likes of Chuma Okeke, Robin Lopez and Franz Wagner will continue to see a big bump as does Gary Harris who will play big minutes again tonight.

Other notable players not active tonight are Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, De'Aaron Fox, Al Horford, Marcus Morris, Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, Marvin Bagley, Isaac Okoro and more!

Outside of Orlando and Atlanta I see many looking at the Kings roster once again with Haliburton potentially being among the highest rostered guards on the slate tonight after his recent performances with Fox out of the lineup but Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes and Metu all should also make an impact.

The Clippers missing Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard and Marcus Morris offer up some solid replacement options there as well to help fill out lineups in a good matchup against the Kings tonight.

The only team I am really fading tonight is the Celtics.  With both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum healthy it is difficult to justify their cost ton tonight's slate. That said, Robert Williams is a viable option tonight at center.
