NBA Injury Report & Waiver Wire Ahead of Week 13 Games: Anthony Davis, RJ Barrett
NBA Injury Report Week 13
Zaccharie Risacher, Forward, Atlanta Hawks: Knee
Expected to miss at least two games, and possibly more. He could also be traded; monitor the situation over the next month, as being traded could have massive ramifications.
Anthony Davis, Center, Dallas Mavericks: Finger
Davis experienced a freak accident that injured his thumb. He could be out as long as ten weeks, and is guaranteed to be out for the rest of the month at minimum. Fantasy basketball managers should act like the Mavericks and try to trade him.
RJ Barrett, Guard, Toronto Raptors: Ankle
Barrett injured, or perhaps just tweaked, his ankle against the Boston Celtics. He is out for at least one game. It could turn into a couple of games for him, keep him on the IR until he’s cleared to return.

Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Week 13
Jaylen Wells, SG/SF, Memphis Grizzlies: Rostered in 28% of Fleaflicker Leagues
The Memphis Grizzlies are supposedly shopping Ja Morant, and could be looking to add to their draft stock with more picks. They got a haul back from Desmond Bane, and with the realistic possibility of trading Morant and Jaren Jackson, their 2026 roster would look much different.Â
Wells is already playing 27.6 minutes per game, and could be asked to score more. He’s a good rebounder who needs to improve on his 41.0% field goal percentage to help his fantasy basketball production. Pick him up off of the waiver wire as a dual designation depth piece.
Egor Demin, Guard, Brooklyn Nets: Rostered in 34% of Fleaflicker LeaguesÂ
Egor Demin was mentioned in Sunday’s NBA Best Bets column as a player projected to go over his point total. The rookie has played all but three of Brooklyn’s games this season, and he takes several field goal attempts a game. With Michael Porter expected to be traded, Demin will become the Nets' go-to-guy.Â
He has attempted 42 threes in his last five games, and with the Nets playing from behind, he has the potential to pick up points late in the game. He gets a boost in leagues that reward three-point field goals as well. Pick Demin up off the week 13 waiver wire, and have a startable guard for the remainder of the fantasy basketball season.
Ja’Kobe Walter, SG/SF, Toronto Raptors: Rostered in 2% of Sleeper Leagues
For those in need of a spot start player with a high fantasy ceiling, take a look at Ja’Kobe Walter of the Toronto Raptors. RJ Barrett is out for at least one game, if not more. Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes are both listed as questionable due to injuries. It is highly likely that one of them rests or has restricted minutes, which helps Walter’s opportunities even more.Â
The Raptors have a favorable week 13 schedule, and Walter could continue to see 30+ minutes due to it. He’s virtually unowned and could be a nice boost; grab him from the waiver wire.
Ayo Dosunmu, Guard/Forward, Chicago Bulls: Rostered in 27% of Sleeper Leagues
If there is a fantasy basketball shark in your league, then Dosunmu is likely not available. However, he is available in 73% of all leagues, and he is a must-own. The Chicago Bulls are one of the most injured teams in the Association, and Dosunmu is on a great fantasy scoring run. He has 29.00 or more fantasy points in seven consecutive games, and that with very bland fantasy scoring.
The Bulls have a favorable week 13 schedule with a game against the Utah Jazz and two against the Brooklyn Nets. That is three games in which the defensive effort will be minimal at best. Pick him up off the waiver wire and put Dosunmu in the starting lineup.Â
