Point Guard Injury News

Derrick White, PG, Boston Celtics (Personal)

Derrick White missed a game over the weekend due to personal reasons, but he is probably to play in Monday's game against Minnesota. 

Jamal Murray, PG, Denver Nuggets (Hamstring)

Jamal Murray injured his hamstring in the Nugget's last game and has been ruled out of Monday night against New Orleans. Reggie Jackson is likely to get the start in Murray's place. 

Jaden Ivey, PG, Detroit Pistons (Illness)

Jaden Ivey missed Sunday's game due to illness and is considered day-to-day for Week 3. As a backup guard, his fantasy value is limited right now. 

Derrick Rose, PG, Memphis Grizzlies (Knee)

Derrick Rose injured his knee on November 1 and the Grizzlies ruled him out for the next week. He will be re-evaluated in the middle of this week to see if his knee has healed. 

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder (Knee)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed Friday's game with a knee injury and has already been ruled out of Monday's game against the Hawks. In his absence, rookie Cason Wallace got the start and played 36 minutes, scoring 13 points. Lu Dort (29 points) and Chel Holmgren (24 points) picked up the slack in scoring. 

Markelle Fultz, PG, Orlando Magic (Knee)

Markelle Fultz is listed as Questionable for the Magic against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night due to a knee injury. Rookie Anthony Black started in his place over the weekend. 

De'Aaron Fox, PG, Sacramento Kings (Ankle)

De'Aaron Fox remains Out Monday night against Houston due to an ankle injury. Without him, the Kings lost to this very same Rockets team on Saturday with Davion Mitchell getting the starting nod. 

Shooting Guard Injury News

Terry Rozier, SG, Charlotte Hornets (Groin)

Terry Rozier missed Sunday's game against Dallas due to a groin injury suffered late last week, and is expected to miss more time in Week 3. Cody Martin and Brandon Miller get an uptick with this injury. 

Ayo Dosunmu, SG, Chicago Bulls (Illness)

Ayo Dosunmu is Questionable with an illness for Monday, but speculation is that he will play. 

Alec Burks, SG, Detroit Pistons (Forearm)

Alec Burks missed Sunday's game against Phoenix and is considered day-to-day as the week begins. 

Terance Mann, SG, Los Angeles Clippers (Ankle)

Mann has already been ruled out for Monday's game against New York with an ankle injury and his status for the rest of the week is unknown. 

CJ McCollum, SG, New Orleans Pelicans (Lung)

CJ McCollum suffered a scary injury that was diagnosed as a small collapsed lung this weekend. This injury will keep him out indefinitely and is similar to a collapsed lung he suffered in 2021 that kept him out for more than three weeks. Jose Alvarado likely step into a larger role on the Pelicans. 

RJ Barrett, SG, New York Knicks (Knee)

RJ Barrett is still dealing with a minor knee injury and is Questionable for Monday night's game against the LA Clippers. 

Devin Booker, SG, Phoenix Suns (Calf)

Devin Booker continues to miss time with a calf strain and is now considered day-to-day with the injury, Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon have been getting a lot of minutes with Booker and Bradley Beal missing time to start the season. 

Bradley Beal, SG, Phoenix Suns (Back)

Bradley Beal continues to miss time with a back injury and has yet to make his Phoenix debut. He is day-to-day to begin Week 3, but the Suns appear to be in no rush to bring back Beal and Booker until they are completely healthy. 

Devin Vassell, SG, San Antonio Spurs (Groin)

Devin Vassell missed the Spurs' last game with a groin injury and is day-to-day. In his absence, Malaki Branham and Doug McDermott are left to grab the small amount of usage that Vassell was getting on this team. 

Small Forward Injury News

Amen Thompson, SF, Houston Rockets (Ankle)

Thompson suffered a Grade 2 ankle sprain on Wednesday and remains Out to start the week. 

Oshae Brissett, SF, Boston Celtics (Thumb)

Oshae Brissett has a thumb injury and is listed as Questionable for Monday's game against Minnesota

Cameron Johnson, SF, Brooklyn Nets (Calf)

Cameron Johnson remains out with a calf strain and will be re-evaluated around November 10th. Royce O'Neale and Dorian Finney-Smith have been filling in the forward minutes. 

Isaac Okoro, SF, Cleveland Cavaliers (Knee)

Issac Okoro missed Sunday's game due to a knee injury and is day-to-day this week. It opens up more minutes for Caris LeVert in a backup role. 

Caleb Martin, SF, Miami Heat (Knee)

Caleb Martin is Out for Monday's game against the Lakers, and Josh Richardson should see a few more minutes along with Duncan Robinson (if he plays). 

Jimmy Butler, SF, Miami Heat (Knee)

Jimmy Butler has been dealing with a minor knee injury, but he is Probable for Monday night's clash with the Los Angeles Lakers

Deni Avdija, SF, Washington Wizards (Ankle)

The Wizards are potentially very thin at small forward as both Deni Avdija and his backup are Questionable for Monday's game against Philadelphia. There is a chance if Avdija misses that rookie Bilal Coulibaly will get big minutes on Monday. 

Corey Kispert, SF, Washington Wizards (Ankle)

Kispert is another Washington wing player who is Questionable for Monday's game against the 76ers..

Power Forward Injury News

Maxi Kleber, PF, Dallas Mavericks (Toe)

Maxi Kleber has missed multiple games with a toe injury, which has opened up room for Derrick Jones Jr. to start in his place. It is still a minimum usage spot behind Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving

Rui Hachimura, PF, Los Angeles Lakers (Concussion)

Rui Hachimura is still dealing with the effects of a concussion suffered over a week ago and will not play in Monday's game against Miami. He should be considered day-to-day for the rest of the week. 

Jarred Vanderbilt, PF, Los Angeles Lakers (Heel)

Jarred Vanderbilt still has another week left until team doctors re-evaluate his foot injury. With Vanderbilt and Hachimura missing time, the Lakers have turned to Taurean Prince for minutes. 

Precious Achiuwa, PF, Toronto Raptors (Groin)

Achiuwa missed another game for Toronto on Sunday with a groin injury and his status for Week 3 is up in the air. 

Tari Eason, PF, Houston Rockets (Leg)

Tari Eason is still experiencing pain in his lower left leg and has been ruled out for Monday night's game against Sacramento. 

Center Injury News

Nic Claxton, C, Brooklyn Nets (Ankle)

Nic Claxton has been diagnosed with a high ankle sprain and the team fears it might be a 6-8 week recovery period. Since Claxton has been out, Spencer Dinwiddie stepped into the starting lineup with Ben Simmons nominally starting in the center position. 

Wendell Carter Jr., C, Orlando Magic (Hand)

Wendell Carter fractured a finger at the end of Week 2 and underwent surgery to repair the injury. The Magic will re-evaluate Carter in three weeks to see how the healing has progressed. Goga Bitadze and Moritz Wagner split the center minutes in the Magic's last game. 

Daniel Gafford, C, Washington Wizards (Ankle)

Daniel Gafford's ankle injury has been improving and he is listed as Questionable ahead of Monday night's game against Philadelphia. 

Xavier Tillman, C, Memphis Grizzlies (Knee)

Xavier Tillman experienced knee soreness and did not play in the Grizzlies' last game. Bismack Biyombo started in his place and helped Memphis to their first win of the season.
