Alperen Sengun Chalkboard NBA Pick: Higher 16.5 Rebounds + Assists
Sengun is the hub of Houston's offense, averaging 9.1 rebounds and 8.1 assists and clearing 16.5 rebounds plus assists in five straight games. He's coming off 12 rebounds and 10 assists against Minnesota, his second straight game with double-digit assists.
Phoenix has the worst rebound rate in the NBA at 45.9% and the worst defense at 120.9 points allowed per 100 possessions, according to ESPN's Hollinger team stats. That's an ideal setup for a center who rebounds and creates. Sengun at Higher 16.5 rebounds plus assists leads our Chalkboard NBA picks and is one of the best NBA picks today.
Andrew Nembhard Chalkboard NBA Pick: Higher 15.5 Points
Nembhard has become one of Indiana's top scorers, averaging 19.0 points and clearing 15.5 in six of seven games, including 23 and 22 in his two November games while playing 35 and 38 minutes.
Denver ranks in the bottom 10 in defensive efficiency at 113.1 points allowed per 100 possessions, and the Pacers will need his scoring as 6.5-point underdogs in Mexico City. Nembhard at Higher 15.5 points rounds out our Chalkboard NBA picks.
