🏀 Brice Sensabaugh Over 21.5 Points (-115)
Cleveland Cavaliers at Utah Jazz | 9:00 PM ET
Brice Sensabaugh is one of the hottest scorers in the league right now and tonight's matchup is set up perfectly for him to go over this number.
Sensabaugh has been Utah's undisputed offensive engine throughout March, averaging 23.8 points per game over his last 10 appearances as the Jazz's injury crisis has handed him the keys to the offense. He has gone over 21.5 points in six of his last seven games, a trend that shows remarkable consistency for a player operating with a full green light. In his last four starts he averaged 25.8 points while shooting 53.4 percent from the floor. His most recent game was 26 points on 11-of-21 shooting in 33 minutes Saturday against Phoenix, his sixth consecutive 20-plus point performance. He has logged between 27 and 33 minutes in each of those outings. The usage is real, the role is cemented, and the production has been relentless.
The injury situation only amplifies this further. Keyonte George, Isaiah Collier, Lauri Markkanen, Jaren Jackson, and Walker Kessler are all out for Utah, leaving Sensabaugh as the clear primary option with as many shot attempts as he can handle. On the Cleveland side, the Cavaliers are resting Jarrett Allen, Max Strus, Dean Wade, and Jaylon Tyson for back-to-back load management, leaving them significantly shorthanded. Utah's defense ranks dead last in the NBA at 125.4 points allowed per game, and Cleveland's depleted rotation will not provide the defensive resistance to slow down a scorer this hot. Six of seven over this number, a 23.8-point rolling average, and the most open path to usage he will see all season. Back Sensabaugh to go over tonight.
🏀 Jalen Johnson Over 7.5 Assists (-115)
Boston Celtics at Atlanta Hawks | 7:30 PM ET
At 7.5 assists for a player averaging 8.1 dimes per game on the season, this prop sits right at Johnson's season average and tonight's injury report creates the ideal conditions for him to clear it comfortably.
Johnson has been the best all-around player in Atlanta all season, earning his first All-Star selection on the strength of 22.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game. Since March 1 his playmaking has elevated even further, averaging 8.8 assists over 36.1 minutes per game. He posted 10 assists in Saturday's 123-113 win over Sacramento and has logged three double-doubles over his last five outings, with his 44 double-doubles on the season ranking third in the entire Association behind only Karl-Anthony Towns and Nikola Jokic. He has reached double-digit assists in back-to-back games at multiple points this month, and the Hawks system runs entirely through him as the primary initiator.
Tonight's injury situation creates extra playmaking responsibility. Jayson Tatum has been officially ruled out for the Celtics with Achilles management, removing Boston's most physically imposing wing defender and forcing Jaylen Brown into a heavy offensive burden on the back end of a back-to-back. That context means Atlanta can attack aggressively and Johnson will be orchestrating everything. When the Hawks are in command at home, Johnson's assist totals consistently spike as teammates get open looks off his drives and kick-outs. He carries a 26.8 percent usage rate on his own floor and functions as both the primary scorer and lead playmaker in State Farm Arena. Atlanta is on a 12-game home winning streak and the Hawks project to have a significant roster advantage tonight. More possessions, more control, more assists for the All-Star.
🏀 Jalen Green Over 21.5 Points (-115)
Phoenix Suns vs. Memphis Grizzlies | Time TBD
Jalen Green is playing the best basketball of his career right now, and the Memphis Grizzlies are a vulnerable defensive matchup to ride that momentum into tonight.
Green is averaging 22.2 points per game in March and has scored 20 or more in nine of his last 12 contests this month. Over his last five games he has averaged a remarkable 28.8 points on 51 percent shooting while hitting 4.2 threes per game. His most recent outing Saturday against Utah was historic: he scored 31 points in just 22 minutes, the first time in Suns franchise history a player scored 30-plus in 22 or fewer minutes. He sliced and diced Utah's defense with elite shot creation and spoke postgame about feeling fully healthy following his hamstring recovery. When Green takes 20 or more shot attempts this season he averages 24.7 points per game, and six of the last six instances of him reaching that volume have come over the past three weeks.
Memphis ranks among the worst defensive teams in the league and has been a prime target for high-usage perimeter scorers throughout the second half of the season. Their inability to contain guards who can create off the dribble and attack from multiple levels makes them a near-ideal matchup for a shooter operating with Green's current confidence and shot volume. Green has the full offensive freedom that comes with being Phoenix's secondary option alongside Devin Booker, and with the Suns pushing to climb out of play-in territory every game now carries urgency that maximizes his usage. Over 21.5 against one of the league's worst defensive units for a player coming off a franchise-record performance is a number that fits squarely within his current floor.
🏀 Atlanta Hawks -2.5 (-115)
vs. Boston Celtics | 7:30 PM ET
The Hawks are home favorites tonight against a Celtics team playing the back end of a back-to-back without their most important player, and Atlanta's current form makes this one of the best spread plays on the Monday board.
Jayson Tatum has been officially ruled out with Achilles management on the second night of Boston's back-to-back. Nikola Vucevic also remains out after fracturing his right ring finger earlier this month. Jaylen Brown returns after missing two games with left Achilles tendinitis, which provides Boston a significant boost, but asking him to carry the entire offensive load on a road back-to-back without Tatum against one of the hottest teams in the league is a steep ask regardless.
On the other side, Atlanta is operating at full strength and riding one of the most impressive home winning streaks in the league. The Hawks have won 12 consecutive home games at State Farm Arena and carry the best net rating in the NBA over the last 10 games at plus-12.6, a full 10 points better than Boston's plus-2.6 over that same span. Jalen Johnson has been an unstoppable force since March 1 with 22.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game, and with CJ McCollum, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Dyson Daniels all healthy and contributing, Atlanta's roster depth will significantly outclass a short-handed Celtics road unit tonight. Boston won Friday's matchup at TD Garden, but this is a different context entirely: the Hawks are at home, fully healthy, better rested, and on a 14-of-15 overall run. Back them at -2.5.
