In his last four starts he averaged 25.8 points while shooting 53.4 percent from the floor. His most recent game was 26 points on 11-of-21 shooting in 33 minutes Saturday against Phoenix, his sixth consecutive 20-plus point performance. He has logged between 27 and 33 minutes in each of those outings. The usage is real, the role is cemented, and the production has been relentless.

The injury situation only amplifies this further. The Hawks have won 12 consecutive home games at State Farm Arena and carry the best net rating in the NBA over the last 10 games at plus-12.6, a full 10 points better than Boston's plus-2.6 over that same span. Jalen Johnson has been an unstoppable force since March 1 with 22.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game, and with CJ McCollum, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Dyson Daniels all healthy and contributing, Atlanta's roster depth will significantly outclass a short-handed Celtics road unit tonight. Boston won Friday's matchup at TD Garden, but this is a different context entirely: the Hawks are at home, fully healthy, better rested, and on a 14-of-15 overall run. Back them at -2.5.
