Brent Rooker OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
Ryan Yarbrough has an ERA of 11 at home this season, and righties are hitting .300 with a .433 SLG against him. Well, here comes Rooker who is hitting .333 with a .473 wOBA and four home runs against lefties in just 27 at-bats against southpaws this season! Furthermore, on the road this season, Rooker has a .378 average, 1.402 OPS, not to mention seven of his 10 home runs! Rooker has hit safely in six of his last eight games, and Kansas City has not had an answer for him through the first two games of this series (4-for-9, HR, 2 2B, 2 R, 4 RBI, 2 BB).
Javier Baez OVER 8.5 Fantasy Points
Steven Matz has not been good for St. Louis this season, going 0-4 with a 6.39 ERA and 1.74 HR/9 through six starts. The veteran southpaw has a 2.25 HR/9 allowed at home this year, and right-handed hitters have a .333 average and .524 SLG against him. In the month of May, Baez is white hot, hitting .389 with zero strikeouts! His bat is finding the ball, good things are happening, and he’s hitting the ball with authority. If you like BvP numbers, he’s 5-for-11 in his career against Matz, and overall against lefties this season, he’s hitting .320 with a 1.033 OPS and 188 wRC+.
Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 Total Bases
Since his return to the lineup, Harper has hit safely in three of four games, including notching at least two total bases in half of the contests. Albeit a very small sample size, he’s hitting .625 against righties this season, and gets a matchup today with the winds blowing out against a righty that has been struggling of late. Tanner Houck has a 5.34 ERA on the year, and he’s served up a .277 average, .523 SLG, and .369 wOBA to left-handed hitters this season.Since joining the Phillies in 2019, Harper has slashed .281/.405/.567 with a 150 wRC+ at Citizens Bank Park, so let’s keep the good times rolling today with those winds blowing out!
