Today's board of MLB player props over at PrizePicks had me a little flustered at first. When looking at the lines, it seemed like every single one was right at my tipping point, leading to some rather tough decisions. However, when diving into the board further and crunching the numbers, two in particular became quite enticing. Pittsburgh's Bryse Wilson has struggled this season, particularly against left-handed hitters, and Cedric Mullins is on the best side of his splits facing a right-handed hitter at home. Mullins is sporting a five-game hit streak at the moment, and he's put up fantasy points in a myriad of ways recently. The Baltimore Orioles are likely a decently popular MLB DFS stack this afternoon, so if you are going to make Mullins a key piece of your MLB DFS lineups, it's only right to include him in your PrizePicks best bets. Since there is a slight weather concern around the ballpark, be sure to check out our MLB DFS weather report leading up to game time. To round out my PrizePicks MLB picks for the day, we'll look to an American League right-hander who is pitching better of late than the surface numbers might indicate. Without further ado, let's check out my favorite MLB player props in today's PrizePicks Power Play of the Day for Sunday, August 7.
