The lines for Eric Lauer’s strikeouts and Matt Olson’s hits+runs+RBI carry strong situational value, matchup context, and historical data. Whether you are building a two-leg power play or stacking these into a larger entry, here is a full breakdown of where both lines land tonight and why.

What Are the Best PrizePicks MLB Picks Today?

Today’s two best PrizePicks MLB player props are Eric Lauer over 4 strikeouts and Matt Olson over 1.5 hits+runs+RBI. Both lines carry clear situational edges based on matchup, current form, and opponent tendencies. Read below for the full breakdown on each pick.

Eric Lauer OVER 4 Strikeouts

There is a bit of feast-or-famine with this White Sox lineup, and we’ll hope that it’s Lauer feasting on this lineup. He racked up nine strikeouts across 5.1 IP in his season debut, and he had three pitches (four-seamer, changeup, cutter) with a 15+ percent SwStr% in that contest. It’s a great matchup today, too, as the White Sox have the third-highest K% in baseball at 37% against southpaws so far in 2026. To their credit, they also have an excellent 15.2% walk rate and league-high .237 ISO, but there’s plenty of swing-and-miss in this lineup, giving Lauer more than enough opportunities to cruise past this line.

He was supposed to start yesterday, but was pushed back a day with an illness, so it shouldn’t be something that should affect him much on the bump.

Matt Olson OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI

Olson is off to a hot start in April, going 6-for-16 with two home runs, five RBI, and four runs scored. We love Olson when taking on a right-hander, and we especially love Olson against a righty who is also quite shaky when it comes to facing left-handed hitters! Brandon Pfaadt will toe the rubber for Arizona this afternoon, and last season, he allowed a .333 wOBA and .451 SLG to left-handed hitters. Those struggles have carried over into the start of this season, as five of the six hits he allowed in his season debut were to lefties!

Pfaadt has a career ERA that is closer to five than it is to four (4.66) when pitching at home, and I’m bullish on Olson and the Atlanta offense getting it done today.
