Reid Detmers (LAA)

Analysis: In six consecutive starts Reid Detmers has allowed 1 or 0 ER and has gotten through six innings in each outing. Twice he's gone over 33 DKP and three times it's been over 26. Seattle has a 94 wRC+ and strike out 24% of the time against lefties since the All-Star break.

Kade Anderson (SEA)

Analysis: Only three teams have a lower wRC+ than the Angels against southpaws and that puts Kade Anderson firmly into play. Anderson's not going to throw more than 85 pitches but he's an efficient pitcher as he's coming off his first quality start at the major league level. Anderson's SwStr% is over 11% this year and that suggests his strikeouts will only go up from here.

MLB DFS Value Pitchers

Landen Roupp (SF)

Analysis: The St. Louis offense has hit the skids since the All-Star break and it puts Roupp in a good spot. He's been limited in the low-80s in pitch count but if he's not walking the farm that's helpful and his control has been better lately. STL only has a 92 wRC+ against righties since the break.

Quinn Mathews (STL)

Analysis: Nobody in baseball has worse numbers against lefties since the break posting a 73 wRC+ along with a 25.1% K-rate. That on top of the fact that Rafael Devers is out for the year and it's really a perfect matchup. Mathews has some under the hood stuff going on, especially the SwStr% as it's in the double-digits. Mathews has a really nice ceiling in this spot.

Jonah Tong (NYM)

Analysis: This has the potential for a big-time score today but it all revolves around Tong's control. He walks a lot of batters but we saw in his last start that when he throws strikes he has a big ceiling. He struck out seven and had an 18% SwStr rate. Baltimore's offense has been awful against righties since the break as their 85 wRC+ is 28th in baseball while striking out the at the 5th-highest rate in the league.

Fernando Tatis (2B/OF, SD), Jackson Merrill (OF, SD) & Ty France (1B, SD)

Analysis: The Padres have 6.5 implied runs as they head into Coors Field and face Tomoyuki Sugano. Lefties have a .565 SLG% against Sugano and righties are hitting .295 against him, so there's no bad split. Tatis and Merrill are two of the hottest hitters on the planet and Ty France – who should be back – has an .881 OPS, .223 ISO, and .379 wOBA vs. RHP.

Juan Soto (OF, NYM) & Francisco Lindor (SS, NYM)

Analysis: The Mets offense has been quite good since the All-Star game against righties and Brandon Young has had a little elevated home run issue recently. He allowed 2 HR/9 in August and 2.6 HR/9 September thus far. Since the break, Lindor has a 155 wRC+ vs. RHP since the break and Soto's at 126 too.

Hunter Goodman (C, COL) & Mickey Moniak (OF, COL)

Analysis: Since joining the Padres, Casey Mize has pitched to a 6.34 ERA, 9 HR, .545 SLG%, 15.2% K, and 52% FB. Now he has to navigate Coors Field? The ball is going to be flying tonight. Both Goodman and Moniak have posted .270+ ISOs against right-handed hurlers this year.

Ronald Acuna (OF, ATL)

Analysis: There are in fact some winds blowing out of Wrigley Field to left field and that's good for righty bats. Acuna gets a struggling David Peterson who's been dealing with traffic everywhere you turn. Acuna has a .190 ISO, .209 xISO, .338 wOBA, and .344 xwOBA against southpaws this year.

Michael Busch (1B, CHC)

Analysis: I really like the Cubs today against Reynaldo Lopez who has struggled against lefties this year. Busch has a .151 ISO and .167 xISO, and .334 wOBA against left-handed pitching. Lopez has a .182 ISO, .180 xISO, .348 wOBA, and .361 xwOBA against southpaws.

Bo Bichette (3B, NYM), Carson Benge (OF, NYM) & Brett Baty (3B, NYM)

Analysis: The Mets have a lot of good value today as Brandon Young has struggled as he's allowed a .293/.366/.517 slash since August 1st (7 starts). Baty has been elite vs. RHP since the break posting an .879 OPS and 137 wRC+ while both Benge and Bichette have also been good, Benge being a 126 wRC+ player and Bichette at 105.

Ian Happ (OF, CHC)

Analysis: Lefties hit Reynaldo Lopez hard and Ian Happ hit righties. Happ has a .212 ISO, .203 xISO, .356 wOBA, and .336 xwOBA against righties on the year and his price has really dipped, especially on DK.

Luis Campusano (C, SD) & Dustin Harris (OF, SD)

Analysis: There aren't a lot of cheap Padres but both Campusano and Harris are under 4K on DK. Campusano has been hitting in the middle of the Padres order and Harris has even found himself near the top of the Padres lineup recently against righties. Harris has 5 hits, 5 RBI & 1 SB over his last three games.

Brett Bateman (OF, TOR)

Analysis: Bateman has destroyed right-handed pitching posting a .368 AVG, .455 OBP%, .955 OPS, and .422 wOBA thus far. He's belted two bombs over his last three games and has three steals off of them as well. Troy Melton has struggled vs. LHH of late.

Lars Nootbaar (OF, ARI)

Analysis: Sandy Alcantara has been hit really hard against left-handed hitters recently allowing a .279 ISO, .235 xISO, .422 wOBA, and .410 xwOBA (30 days, 368 pitches). Nootbaar could lead off here and against righties, he has a .147 ISO, .190 xISO, .338 wOBA, and .357 xwOBA against them.
