A new weeks begins and all that I can hope for is that our fortune of the past two weeks continue as we enter the middle of May. We are treated tonight with 13 games across MLB which is one of the largest we'll see on a Monday all season. The bad news, at least in my opinion, is that Coors Field is back in the picture with a three game set between the Diamondbacks and Rockies beginning tonight. So, if you are lazy DFS player your prayers have been answered. For the rest of us, we will come up with a plan to slay the Coors Field dragon. Speaking of which, Monday's are a great time to form your DFS plan for the week. Set a goal for where you want your bankroll to be come next Monday and then outline exactly how you plan to get there. If you set goals for yourself, it will help you not only obtain them but also not put so much pressure on yourself should you fall short because you will know exactly what went wrong.

There are three games to watch for on the weather front tonight. First and foremost, the Padres and Cubs do battle at Wrigley Field but there will be rain all day and night here in Chicago. Wrigley Field is one of the worst in baseball at water drainage and the Cubs have shown a quick trigger in cancelling games over the past couple years. I would not doubt that this one is called by 4 PM ET. I am still going to grade Padres and Cubs players as I would if the game was going to play out. Thus, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILTY to check the status of this game (and all games!) before finalizing your lineup. The other games to watch out for are the Pirates/Reds where there is a 40% chance of rain in Cincinnati and the Orioles/Twins where they have a 40% chance of rain late in the game.
