At the beginning of last week I made a proclimation to use a minimum priced Adam Jones for the entire week. Then I got into an argument on our Optimal Lineups message boards defnding our use of Troy Tulowitzki who was the 16th highest priced SS a week ago today. As we enter a new week of DFS MLBI am proud to announce that both Adam Jones and Troy Tulowitzki have graduated from the minimum priced academy and are now priced up where they belong. Many of you have been asking for which player(s) I am going to ride this week. The answer to that question, at least for today is nobody. I understand that the pickings are ripe to come up with a weekly gimmick where I profess my love for an underpriced player or two and all, but I just can't do it. I am not the type of player that makes a case for the players that I want to play any given day. Rather, every single day is a brand new slate for me and I prefer to let the numbers tell me which way to go. Make no mistake, whenever I have a similar feeling about a player who is underpriced and that I KNOW will get correct soon, I will make my case for him right here in this space. But in the meantime, let's focus on the players that are in the right situations to help us succeed tonight.

A light Monday in DFS MLB but there is still quite a bit of money to be won across the industry. The Reds/Indians game is once against starting 50 minutes early and thus will not be a part of the DFS slates nor the DFS Playbook today. In additon to that we are looking at the Red Sox/Kansas City game being a long shot to play with rain in the Kansas City area all day long. I wouldn't doubt if this one was cancelled by 4 PM ET. This could leave us with only seven games to pick from tonight so let's get weird.

Here is the DFS MLB Playbook for Monday May 16th:
