In daily fantasy sports, there are winning days and there are losing days. Most of the time this comes down to how well your lineup performed on a given day or night. Today though it means a little bit more. For nearly 20 million residents of the state of New York, the freedom to play daily fantasy sports has been taken away for the past eight months. We are supposed to get a final vote on a bill that would regulate DFS in the state of New York and once again allow their citizens to play the game we all love. Whether you are a New York resident or not though this vote will impact you significatnly. Many states are waiting on what New York does before they push for their own DFS regulation. If New York is back open that maans more players and more contetsts for all of us. Hell, we could have one of the largest corporate mergers occur soon after New York opens back up.

No matter what happens we will be providing updates for our readers in the forums, in our news and on the radio show between 4-6 PM ET today.

Tonight we have 14 games to go over and pick apart for our daily fantasy baseball purposes. Fortunately, there are no weather issues to worry about whatsoever so each game will indeed be in play for us tonight. What's even better is that there are no games at Coors Field, Chase Field, Yankee Stadium or Globe Life Park this evening. Thus we have outselves a good ole fashioned wide open slate of MLB games at our disposal.

Here is the DFS MLB Playbook for Friday June 17th:
