I feel like Magellen or Christopher Columbus here or something trying to navigate the waters of a very uncertain Thursday in daily fantasy baseball. Let's start out by making it clear that I have crossed out the Philadelphia/Cincinnati game altogether. The reason I did this was because FanDuel has barely any GPP's for the full day slate while DraftKings has knocked it off the list entirely. Also, the crazy early start time with two terrible teams is what I would label "DFS Suicide." If you absolutely must play that game, I do like Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips, Caesar Hernandez and Maikel Franco.

For the rest of us sane people we are not out of the woods yet. There is some EXTREME weather concerns to consider today and tonight. I'd be pretty surprised if that Astros/Yankees game got in as there seems to be a steady rain storm over the stadium for a good four hour period before and during when the game is supposed to start (4:05 PM ET). If they play it, it will be much later in the evening when things dry out. The Marlins/Nationals also has between a 50-70% chance of heavy rain during the game with storms moving in midway through likely causing a delay. The Red Sox/Indians game will be cold as the soul of your ex-wife. This game also has a 50% chance of snow and/or rain. Big advantage for pitchers if indeed they play this one.

So, in other words you guys had better have the Fantasy Alarm app and sync your players so that you are notified as soon as any of these games are delayed or cancelled. I'll be around all day to try and stay up on it all for you but you are going to have to be able to make quick pivots or stay away from those games entirely.

Here is the DFS MLB Playbook for Thursday April 7th:
