There isn't too much weather to worry about tonight. The Oakland/Detroit game will have rain in the area with a 60% chance of thunderstorms. This game is the one that might wind up delayed or postponed today so make sure to continuously check back on our lineups page in order to see the latest weather over Comerica Park. The Cleveland/Minnesota game also has about a 30% chance of rain but this will almost definitely get in. Danny Salazar is the only pitcher of either of these games that I would consider in play tonight.
The Pirates greatly disapponted me this weekend as the core guys that I played (McCutchen, Marte, Freese) did squat in the friendly confines of Chase Field in Arizona. So, now they go to Coors Field where the ownership of these guys will be through the roof. It's hard not to like Marte, Polanco, Freese and company but I am going to fade Andrew McCutchen until I see a bettter approach out of him. Meanwhile the Cardinals who have scored the second most runs in MLB gets to hit in Chase Field against the terrible Diamondbacks bullpen.
On the hill tonight we get the surest thing going in the Mets Noah Syndergaard. Thor will be my arm for cash games tonight as the Reds just haven't been able to hit as of late and they take a major ballpark hit this week as well. Marcus Stroman is the most underpriced pitcher going tonight and I love him against the light hitting White Sox. The return of Kevin Gausman to the Orioles rotation will be a big help for the O's and it could be a big play for DFS players tonight as well. Gausman is a high strikeout arm facing a Rays team that has the fourth worst strikeout rate in MLB at 25.1%.
