This is the way that it should be. I understand that some of you enjoy the split slate DFS days but I will acknowledge that I personally do not. Today we have all 30 MLB teams in action with just the Rockies and Cubs going early. This leaves us a lot of opportunity on the board to coincide with some real huge contests across all three major DFS sites.
Tonight we have a great assortment of starting pitchers to choose from including premium aces like Kershaw, Bumgarner and Sale. What is even more interesting is that there are nine left handed pitchers going tonight so be sure to do your homework on L/R splits. With so many great arms going tonight I am not all that worried about ownership percentages. I am leaning toward the likes of Greinke and Sale since they have a better chance at a win than Kershaw/Bumgarner but would have no problem with any of these guys really.
If you are paying up for the starters tonight then that means we will need to identify value bats to make it all work. I feel as though there is enough value out there to use a strong group of mid-tier bats that have big power upside. This group includes the likes of Albert Pujols, Maikel Franco and Christian Yelich. The spots to drop all of the way down tonight are likely SS and in one of your OF spots.
