I go away for a few days and all hell breaks loose. Well not really, but for those of you who are Playbook PRO subscribers, you may want to buckle in as I have an important message to deliver to you on the Optimal Lineups page today. For the rest of you I will spare you the lecture as you are innocent bystanders...for now.
For the purposed of the DFS MLB Rankings, Playbook and Optimal Lineups I am NOT INCLUDING THE THREE EARLY GAMES. I am not sure how to make this any more clear...maybe I will highlight it in BOLD and give it an underline. There...that should work. Wednesday is all about the massive 12 game slate that begins at 7:05 PM ET tonight. The pitching isn't all that great but that is why it took me quite a while to piece together which of these pigs are in a good spot. I am as surprised as you at some of the names who are atop the starting pitcher rankings but we must play the hand that we are dealt. John Lackey is the most secure arm all things considered tonight. If you would have ever told me that I'd recommend Michael Pineda again I may have punched you right in the nuts (or vagina for you ladies reading this). But here we are in a terrible stadium against a good opponent and Pineda is in play.
As you will notice, I am really attacking the Nationals lefties, Dodgers lefties and Indians righties today. I will use some Coors Field players but am choosing to pay up for the real good ones instead of chasing a minimal perceived value like many are doing of late. We are at that point of the season where we can determine hot and cold streaks as players begin to separate themselves. I'm going to continue rolling with the Orioles and Cardinals bats as a result while staying away from the Braves and non-Coors Padres.
