Catcher

Cash Play:  For cash games, I feel that many may use the position as more of a punt play, but I like Salvador Perez.  He is 13-20 with 6 doubles and a homer vs Tomlin, and his price is pretty average across the board.

GPP plays:  Tyler Flowers should get the start tonight and capable of going deep against a poor lefty.  Evan Gattis has just 3 hits over his last 33 AB’s, with 2 of those going deep.  On a larger slate taking a risk on a guy who has double dong potential at a thin position can be a nice high risk/high reward type play.

Value Plays:  If going the punt route, I think both Josh Phegley and James McCann are solid options if in the lineup.  Phegley will be higher owned, but Perez has pitched well lately.  Almost a similar case with McCann going up against Gonzalez who has only given up 7 hits over last 12 innings.

First Base

Cash Plays:  First base is pretty loaded with options tonight, and feel that either Alex Rodriguez, Matt Adams, and Miguel Cabrera can all be used as well as a few possible others.  A-Rod gets the both Coors and lefty bonus tonight, and depending on site, can be your first or third base play.  Adams ended his 10 game hit streak last night, and looking to start a new one vs Fister who he has taken deep in the past. Brandon Moss is also in a great matchup vs Fister, and can be used as 1B or OF. Cabrera is a little risker, and can be a placed below in GPP option, but think he finally hits first and maybe second homerun in June tonight.

GPP Plays:  I like the Cleveland options in Carlos Santana and Mike Napoli tonight.  Both have taken Young deep, and many shy away from games with weather concerns (keep eye out for ppd).

Value Play:  The only value play I can see targeting at 1B if in the lineup would be James LoneyHe is cheap and has reached base in 9-11 of his games.  Just feel that tonight isn’t the night to fully punt first.

Second Base

Cash plays:  Jason Kipnis and Starlin Castro are the same price on FD and Dk, and only $100 separate them on Aces.  I would give the edge to Castro due to Coors and the Yankees have run total, but Kipnis is batting .412 in 17 AB’s vs Young.

GPP plays:  The Astros are my sneaky stack play, and Jose Altuve will be part of that.  He has 2 or more hits in 7 of his last 8 games.  Reason he is GPP and not cash is due to his high price tag.  If looking for a late night hammer, Joe Panik tops my list at 2B.  Garza is making season debut, and has been prone to the long ball.

Value Plays:  The Braves provide plenty of value options tonight, and Chase d’Arnaud provides that option at second. He’s actually the second highest priced Barve tonight on FD, making him more of a DK and Aces choice over FD for me.

Third Base

Cash Plays:  Alex Rodriguez would be my preferred option for third on DK and on Aces 1B/3B, but on FD, I’ll roll out Nolan ArenadoEvolaldi has not pitched well lately, and a trip to Coors never helps.  Kris Bryant is also very much in play, and has taken Gio deep before.

GPP plays:  Any of the above listed are great GPP targets as well, but I’m leaning towards a GPP Braves stack which includes Adonis GarciaHe is pretty much minimum price, and has gone deep in 2 of his last 4 games.  Danny Valencia has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, while going deep in four of them.

Value Play:  See above with Garcia.

Shortstop

Cash Plays:  Nobody really stand out to me at SS tonight, although I do like Trevor Story and Corey SeagerBoth have the power to go deep multiple times, and should have plenty of runners on base for them.  I’m leaning slightly more to Seager tonight.

GPP Plays:  Similar to first base, I like the high risk/high reward weather play with Fransisco Lindor.  Went hitless last night, but went deep the night before, and hoping for game to play.

Value Play:   I would wait for lineups to come out to find a FD value play, but will lean towards finding some value on the other sites in Marcus Semien and Brandon CrawfordBoth plays are more against their opposing pitcher than anything else.

Outfield

Cash Plays:  I suggest trying to load OF with the Coors game tonight.  Carlos Beltran, Carlos Gonzalez, and Charlie Blackmon  are my top choices from the group.  For much cheaper, feel free to roster Cameron Maybin and his .372 avg.  Dexter Fowler (8 hits in 17 AB’s vs Gonzalez), is also a nice options, but try not to fully overthink OF tonight.

GPP Plays:  George Springer leading off for Houston makes my Astros stack, but I’m going to try to choose some low owned OF’s tonight.  My favorites include Jay Bruce, Mark Trumbo, and Jeff FrancoeurJulio Teheran has given up 12 long balls this year, and the Reds have been going deep a lot lately.  Trumbo will be overlooked due to matchup against Price, but he is batting .364 with 2 HR’s in 22 AB’s vs Price.  Francoeur is part of my Braves love tonight with their low prices.  He hasn’t gone deep since May 19th, but that could change tonight.

Value Plays:  Besides Francoeur, I like Tyler Naquin as part of my Cleveland love.  Naquin has 4 HR’s in his last 9 games, and is 1-1 with a HR vs Young.
