Tyler Soderstrom Chalkboard MLB Pick: OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
Soderstrom has a .204 ISO and 119 wRC+ against right-handed pitching in 2026, and he’s slashing .400/.500/.700 over his last 12 games! I love the A’s today against Mike Burrows, and Soderstrom just might be my favorite bat in the lineup. Soderstrom has a .308 AVG and .590 SLG against right-handed four-seamers, so if Soderstrom can get ahead of the count and force Burrows to use his four-seamer, he’s going to be in a great spot.
Burrows has a 6.85 ERA, 7.33 FIP, and 2.66 HR/9 over his last four starts, and he simply hasn’t been good for most of this year. His ERA is north of seven at home this year, and the numbers only get worse when you look at Burrows’ numbers against lefties. Left-handed hitters have a .329 average, .606 SLG, and .435 wOBA against him this season. Yikes!
Cade Cavalli Chalkboard MLB Pick: OVER 15.5 Pitching Outs
Cavalli has cleared this line in four of his last five starts, posting a 3.00 ERA, 2.90 FIP, and 1.10 WHIP during that stretch. Cavalli’s numbers against lefties for the year don’t look great, but he's vastly improved since the calendar turned to May in this department, to the tune of a .227 BAA and .306 wOBA.
Arizona has some intriguing names in its lineup, but the production hasn’t quite been there of late. While they haven’t been striking out a ton of late, they also haven’t been hitting, posting a measly .218 average and the second-lowest wRC+ in baseball over the last two weeks (72). Over the last 30 days against RHP, the Cardinals have a .227 average, .289 wOBA, and 81 wRC+.
