Nationals vs. Braves Predictions: Thursday, July 30th

The Nationals are welcoming back Jake Irvin on the mound tonight just in time to face off against one of the best offenses in baseball in Atlanta. How will things shake out? Let's dive into the numbers and figure out some wagers. 

Since the MLB All-Star break the Braves as a team has hit a isolated power mark of .186 which ranks fourth in MLB during that time span. They also boast a .308 BABIP which should play into their favor against a pitch to contact guy like Jake Irvin. Irvin has also been susceptible to right handed hitters this season allowing a .276 average and near .800 OPS. This is where the Braves lineup comes into play tonight.  

Drake Baldwin has hit .357 with three extra base hits over the past seven games on top of his 1.026 OPS. He should excel against Irvin today and go over his hits/runs/RBIs prop today.
