Tampa Bay Rays vs. Houston Astros Predictions: Friday, July 3rd

It a meeting between a pair of talented teams tonight as the Astros host the Rays to begin this new series. On the bump for Houston will be Spencer Arrighetti and his play has taken a turn for the worst! How can we profit on these struggles? Let's dive into the numbers!

Arrighetti has seen his nice season go down the toilet in June as he has an ERA of nine, yes you read that right. Over 25 innings pitched he's allowed 25 earned runs, batters are hitting .293 against him with 29 hits and seven home runs on his ledger in total. This kind of pitching puts the Rays lefties into play here tonight and its Jonathan Aranda getting my backing. He is hitting .368 with a 1.117 OPS over the past week and should be hitting early in the Rays lineups against Arrighetti tonight. Let's take him to go over his hits/runs/RBIs prop. 

In addition to the prop I love the over tonight as Nick Martinez is starting on the other side for the Rays. His season is also blowing up with a 5.14 ERA in June and allowing 30 hits over 28 innings pitched. It doesn't seem like the books have priced this total correctly either so give me the over on 8.5 runs here tonight.
