🔥 Cubs vs. Mariners Best Bet: Shota Imanaga Over 5.5 K's (53.5% at Novig)

A starter that we haven’t targeted as much as Sanchez but was mentioned earlier is the one for the Chicago Cubs today. It’s another lefty, and it’s one that should love the location swap from his home ballpark of Wrigley Field to the very pitcher-friendly one in Seattle. Imanaga is also part of our MLB best bets today with the matchup.

The Mariners have a top-10 K rate vs. lefties both for the season and over the past month, even with the sporadic nights where Cal Raleigh wakes up. Imanaga’s issue is allowing HRs, but again, Seattle helps him prevent those. The starts in which he is set up for success, he performs - he just had 10 K’s vs. the other Chicago team.

Despite the HRs allowed, we still see a 92nd-percentile chase rate, so we’re going to add to our MLB best bets today with Shota Imanaga over 5.5 strikeouts (53.5% at Novig).
