That’s because while the Bronx Bombers may have added a guy we love in Luis Garcia, Jr. at the trade deadline, they still strike out a ton. Over the past month, they are tied with the Pittsburgh Pirates for the absolute highest K rate vs. right-handed pitching. Speaking of which, when Miller faced the Pirates this season, he recorded 11 K’s.

We know his K totals as of late make this tough to support, but we’re still leading off our MLB best bets today with Bryce Miller over 5.5 strikeouts (-113 at Novig).

Ok, we’re sticking with another guy toeing the rubber in another location that is considered quite hitter-friendly.
