Welcome to Friday in the MLB as we have a full slate of 15 games today! That gives many different avenues to wager on today and as we head into June, I am still treading water on the short season of my gambling. Not too much fanfare for today out of me so let's just get into the wagers I am watching and laying some money on this afternoon/evening.

MLB Best Bets for May 26

Los Angeles Dodgers at Tampa Bay Rays

From a pure baseball perspective this series is going to be a blast as the Dodgers head south to take on the best team in the MLB so far the Rays. Both teams have been led by stellar offensives and it should come as no surprise that many books have the total at 9 runs for tonight. It'll be a pitching matchup of two starters that haven't had the best seasons to this point with Noah Syndergaard and Jalen Beeks going head to head. Syndergaard has an ERA of 5.88 and on the road this season its even worse as he has allowed 16 earned runs on 14 innings pitched. Beeks will be the opener for the Rays today and while he may not pitch long he has given up runs in plenty of spots this season. Then there's the offenses that have pushed the total going over much of the season. Tampa Bay has gone over in 63.3% of their games this season which is the highest rate in the MLB and the Dodgers have gone over in 56% of their games, the 6th highest rate. Tonight should be a game of many runs and I can't wait to watch it!

Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers & Tampa Bay Rays Over 9 Runs (-120 on BetMGM)

Houston Astros at Oakland Athletics

The Astros are rolling right along as many expected this season with 8 wins in their last 10 games. Tonight they start a series against the a lowly Oakland team that is 10-42 on the season and an impressive style of bad. On top of that they are 5-20 at home this season where they will be playing tonight. James Kaprielian will get the nod on the bump for the A's and he is a certified gas can with an ERA of 8.68 and is 0-4 on the season with a 1.86 WHIP. This has caused the Astros to be pretty chalky tonight as the Run Line sits at -150 across many books. I will still lay that bet but I want to get some Same Game Parlay action on it too. I am going to pair it with Yordan Alvarez to go over 1.5 total Hits/Runs/RBIs tonight as he is hitting .297 while posting 46 RBIs so far on the year. If he can get on base there's a real good shot at him running the bags with the offense behind him too. That bet alone is -145 for those looking to make straight bets.

Pick: Houston Astros Run Line -1.5 (-150 on DraftKings)

Pick: Yordan Alvarez Over 1.5 Hits/Runs/RBIs (-140 on DraftKings)

Pick: Same Game Parlay (+165 on DraftKings)

Washington Nationals at Kansas City Royals

This one might seem icky but the Nationals have been putting together some good games of recently and the offense has been a big reason why. Over the past 6 games the Nats have scored over 4.5 runs in 5 of those games and tonight they get the Royals who are allowing 5.31 runs per game, which is the 3rd highest rate in the MLB this season. To make matters worse for Kansas City they are sending out Jordan Lyles tonight with his 7.15 ERA. Its a bit better at home but the ERA is still 5.18 and he has allowed 29 hits on 33 innings pitched. The line tonight is 4.5 runs for the Nationals to top and I am fully on board with that as they look to keep the bats hot on the road.

Pick: Washington Nationals Over 4.5 Team Total Runs (-110 on BetMGM)
