Favorite Bets: 

Randy Arozarena, Seattle Mariners (+290) – Following the trade deadline departure of both Tarik Skubal and Casey Mize, the Tigers are going to throw veteran right-hander Drew Anderson, who has worked primarily as a reliever, but spent the last four seasons overseas as a starter in both Japan and Korea. We’re not sure how many innings he’ll throw, but I expect the Mariners to take full advantage of his shortcomings. Anderson has allowed six stolen bases in just 63.2 innings this season and is allowing right-handed hitters to post a .344 wOBA against him. Love reverse splits, especially when they line up well for Arozarena, who posts a .379 wOBA against righties and has 15 stolen bases against them.

Ronald Acuna, Atlanta Braves (+388) – While the trade of Liam Hicks might put Joe Mack behind the dish a little more often than we’d like, we have to take a look at exploiting Eury Perez’s slow delivery and the fact that he’s allowed a league-high 24 stolen bases this season. Acuna is starting to find his groove with hits in three straight games and in four of his last five. He’s got the sprint speed, and he’s got the plate discipline (.385 OBO, 13.4% walk rate) to get on. From there, I’m looking for him to be the catalyst the Braves need.
