With another series featured at Coors Field this week and the winds of Wrigley Field, we’ll first point to our MLB weather report. Despite a matchup that involves Sal Stewart and Ian Happ, it’s actually Suzuki that has the shortest odds to hit a homer in this game! Albeit slightly, but still, the outfielder has had four of his five homers come against righties this season, and Reds Chase Petty is getting his first start in a calendar year. So, let’s start our best MLB home run picks for today with Seiya Suzuki hitting a HR (+303 at Novig).

JJ Bleday (+470)

Having correlation never hurts, so why not also check out the other team at Wrigley Field today? That would be the Cincinnati Reds, who have a great ballpark for homers themselves. That’s why we’ve seen some of their guys as part of our MLB home run picks before, and another one finds themselves within the top three again.

That would be JJ Bleday, so not the common and popular target of the aforementioned Sal Stewart. We also mentioned Suzuki’s success against righties this season, and JJ is a lefty who gets to face righty Edward Cabrera. Even if it doesn’t come early, Chicago’s bullpen has allowed 17 homers this season. Therefore, we’re adding to our best MLB home run picks for today with JJ Bleday to hit a HR (+470 at FanDuel).

MJ Melendez (+350)

We saw the YRFI market (yes run first inning) market hit in all three of the games at Coors Field this weekend, so it’s also a fitting target. While it won’t be the Atlanta Braves opposing the Colorado Rockies today, we have the New York Mets lineup. So, if you want the “square” pick rather than our MLB home run picks, just take Juan Soto.

However, we see more value with the lefty that follows him in the lineup. Both he and Soto have excellent slugging percentages against right-handed pitching this season and even the same number of extra-base hits. Colorado started Tomoyuki Sugano in April, allowing 1+ homer in three straight and 1+ in each of his first four starts overall.
