Top Tier

Zack Wheeler, PHI - The man has been utterly dominant of late, allowing just THREE total runs over his last FIVE starts..... Please, let that sink in. In those five starts he pitched 31.2 innings and struck out 39. Tonight, Wheeler faces a Cubs team that has the highest strikeout rate in baseball against RHP at 26.9%. They also rank dead last in batting average and 21st in wOBA against righties. Weather is the only concern here.

Mid-Tier

Yusei Kikuchi, SEA - Kikuchi has been strong lately, pitching to a 2.59 ERA over the last 10 games while striking out 66 over 62.2 innings. I know see the Yankees will worry some here and for that reason he is likely better used in GPPs which is fine for me because I love his strikeout upside in this matchup.

Alex Wood, SF -  Wood has cooled off a bit after his white hot start but he has still pitched a well enough to be worth your cash game lineups today in the mid-tier. He gets a home matchup here in a favorable pitcher park against the Cardinals. All we need from Wood here tonight he to qualify for the win as the Giants sit as big favorites tonight.

Value tier

Antonio Senzatela, COL - Typically Senzatela is a favorite punching bag of mine but tonight's pitching slate is pretty brutal and to his credit, things have been better for Senzatela of late. He has pitched at least six innings in six of his last seven starts and while he is not a dominant strikeout pitcher he does rack up 4-to-5 strikeouts an outing. The Diamondbacks have had their issues offensively this season. I don't mind the dart throw here.
