CFB DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Playbook & Schedule: Saturday, November 7th
Before we discuss top CFB DFS picks this week, let’s take a look at the slate. DraftKings has a 12-game main slate with only afternoon action. Meanwhile, FanDuel’s 14-game slate spans both the afternoon and night. For the write-ups, we’ll focus on top players and value picks for both sites. See our specific DraftKings and FanDuel core plays below. Here’s a look at the Week 10 CFB DFS picks.
CFB DFS Lineups: Top Plays
Conner Weigman, QB, Houston
DK: $8,600 | FD: $11,300
Multiple top-tier quarterbacks are worth rostering this week, but Conner Weigman stands out with his floor-ceiling combo in a favorable matchup. Cincinnati ranks 135th nationally in passing yards allowed per game vs. FBS opponents. It doesn’t get much better for opposing QBs. Weigman, meanwhile, averages 28 DK points per game with a 20:2 TD:INT ratio and 6 rushing scores this year. He should be plenty worth paying up for at home.
Caleb Hawkins, RB, Oklahoma State
DK: $9,500
Caleb Hawkins is the most expensive running back on DraftKings, but he still stands out as the top play above the rest. Oklahoma State’s workhorse has put up some massive stat lines lately. He had 275 total yards and 54 DK points last week, 192 yards and 27 DK points the week prior, and 193 yards and 35 DK points the game before that. Hawkins is also averaging a whopping 157.4 total yards per game this season. He now faces a Kansas State defense that’s struggled against the run, allowing 208.2 rushing yards per game in conference play (123rd in FBS).
Isaac Brown, RB, Louisville
FD: $10,000
Meanwhile, Isaac Brown is our top running back on the FanDuel slate. The Louisville tailback faces a Georgia Tech defense that ranks 133rd nationally in rushing yards allowed vs. FBS opponents and 121st in EPA/Rush defensively. Brown just went off for 172 total yards, 4 TDs, and 42 FD points last week. He also had 235 rushing yards and 36 FD points in another recent game. Unfortunately, he is risky with some inconsistent performances and Keyjuan Brown’s involvement. However, the upside could be huge in this matchup.
Jackson Harris, WR, LSU
DK: $6,900 | FD: $9,400
Normally, Jeremiah Smith or Malachi Toney would be the top wide receiver play. This week, though, is different. Smith still has a freshman QB throwing to him, and Toney is out. That brings us to LSU’s No. 1 wideout. Jackson Harris is averaging 120 yards, 6.8 receptions, and 32.2 DK points over his last four conference games. He’s seeing consistent volume and has scored 7 TDs over the last four SEC games as well. Alabama has been up-and-down against the pass, and Harris can be productive at home in this showdown.
CFB DFS Lineups: Value Plays
Blake Barnett, QB, Kansas State
DK: $4,500
On the DraftKings slate, Blake Barnett screams value at the minimum QB price tag for our Super-Flex spot. He’s slated to start for Kansas State with Avery Johnson sidelined. Barnett took over at quarterback last week and put up 25 DK points against Colorado. He threw for 224 yards with 3 TDs, and added 40 rushing yards. Barnett is way too cheap for a starting QB, especially in this matchup. Oklahoma State ranks 122nd in passing yards allowed per game in conference play.
Jarvis Green, RB, Clemson
DK: $4,100 | FD: $6,900
Jarvis Green will start at running back for Clemson with Gideon Davidson out. That immediately puts him on our radar at dirt-cheap prices. We don't know what we'll get from Green, but the matchup is pretty attractive. Syracuse has given up 4.2 yards per carry with 15 rushing TDs allowed across 7 games vs. FBS opponents. Green is worth a dart throw against this defense.
Emmett Mosley V, WR, Texas
DK: $4,400 | FD: $7,000
Ryan Wingo and Cam Coleman are both questionable to play after suffering injuries last week. If both are out, Emmett Mosley should be the Longhorns’ top wide receiver and Arch Manning’s go-to target by default. Mosley just had his best game of the season amid the Wingo and Coleman absences last week, with 98 yards and a TD against Mississippi State. He now faces a Mizzou defense that ranks 115th in passing yards allowed to conference opponents. Mosley can certainly return value in this matchup if Wingo and Coleman are sidelined.
Micahi Danzy, WR, Florida State
DK: $4,300
Micahi Danzy will be Florida State’s top wideout now with Duce Robinson tearing his ACL. Coincidentally, Danzy just had his best game of the year last week, with 108 yards and a TD for 23 DK points. His production has been up and down this year, but the targets and role in the FSU offense should increase in Robinson’s absence. Boston College is decent against the pass, but Danzy is still worth the value.
