Strategy is everything. In order to be successful, you need to establish a strategy for each and every step of the way. Not only do you need a strong yet fluid draft strategy for the big day, you need a strategy for things like in-season team management, waiver claims and FAAB (free agent acquisition budget) allocation. You even need a strategy for how you do your research.

What we’ve put together here is a variety of different strategies for you to examine as you begin the process. Some you’ll find helpful for research, some are more appropriate for when you are in the draft room, while others should be bookmarked for use later in the season. You may find some more valuable than others depending on your league format, but overall, the wealth of knowledge you’ll have in the end will make you a much tougher adversary and the likely favorite to win your league.

The list below will be your preliminary starting point, but know that it will continue to grow over the next two months as we continue to learn from everything we witness in training camps and pre-season games.
