Panthers signed WR David Moore, formerly of the Seahawks, to a two-year contract.
Moore is not a 1-for-1 replacement for Curtis Samuel, but for now, he takes his place on the depth chart. A situational deep threat, Moore got usurped by all-world starter DK Metcalf in Seattle last season and his yards per catch plunged from the 17s to 11.9. That number probably won't go back up if Teddy Bridgewater remains the Panthers' starting quarterback, but the situation is fluid. It's also quite possible Moore eventually becomes the Panthers' No. 4 wideout following another addition.
