2023 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Luis Patino doesn't carry the same kind of fantasy intrigue his name once did, but he could be used in a swing role in 2024, serving as a reliever and spot starter as needed. He ended the 2023 season with the White Sox, posting a 3.57 ERA and 1.58 WHIP across 17.2 IP. His velocity ticked up a bit during his time with the White Sox, but he had a very hard time generating swings out of the zone with Chicago (23.6 O-Swing%).
2024 Outlook: He could be interesting in NL-only formats if he can get back to being the guy he was in the minors, but no need to draft him. Take the wait-and-see approach before adding Patino if he looks good to open the 2024 season.
