2023 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Wong’s free-swinging ways (33.3% K rate and above average chase rate) were largely responsible for his poor .235 BA last season. He’s a good defensive catcher with surprisingly good sprint speed which accounted for his eight steals last season.
2024 Outlook: We’re probably looking at another season where Wong will struggle in the batting average category. His fantasy value is limited to deeper two catcher leagues.
