Finally we get some new matchups in the WNBA. For the first time in over two weeks, the Sky will play a team other than New York or Connecticut. Phoenix has only played against Los Angeles the last two weeks, and it will be nice to see them play Minnesota for the first time since the season-opener. Los Angeles will play Las Vegas for the first time in over a month, a game that marks the return to L.A. for Chelsea Gray and Riquna Williams. I think we may be able to find value in players who have struggled lately but could benefit from playing somebody new.
| Guards | |||||||
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Kelsey Plum | LV | LA | 7900 | 23.28 | 5500 | 22.66 | |
| Plum has at least 24.25 fantasy points in her last four games, averaging 33 fppg over that span. She is a safe cash play, especially on FanDuel, but she has shown she has a high ceiling as well. | |||||||
| Te'a Cooper | LA | LV | 7200 | 16.75 | 5600 | 16.61 | |
| Cooper is a better play if Kristi Toliver is out again, but with Bria Holmes and Karlie Samuelson gone, Cooper could be playable for fantasy even if Toliver starts. Cooper has played at least 27 minutes in each of her last two games, averaging 33 fantasy points in those games. Her shooting in those games is probably too good to be true, but I trust her to get playing time, shots and steals. | |||||||
| Courtney Vandersloot | CHI | DAL | 9800 | 33.57 | 7500 | 33.31 | |
| Vandersloot is coming off her worst game in nearly three weeks and she still finished with 24.25 fantasy points. She has at least 31.25 fantasy points in seven of her last 10 games and I think she is the safest of the expensive point guards. | |||||||
| Diana Taurasi | PHO | MIN | 9400 | 28.6 | 6300 | 26.32 | |
| I would strongly consider playing Taurasi on DK, though I would rather pay an extra $400 for Courtney Vandersloot. On FD, however, it is a different story. Taurasi had 30.3 points in her first game back from a chest injury and she had 38.1 fantasy points in her first game of the season against Minnesota. If she reaches 30 fantasy points again she will be a fantastic value. | |||||||
| Layshia Clarendon | MIN | PHO | 6500 | 18.14 | 5200 | 16.96 | |
| Clarendon scored 33 fantasy points in 37 minutes Friday against the Aces, though that was aided by overtime. I don't know how much longer they will continue to play heavy minutes over Crystal Dangerfield, but I'm willing to take a shot in GPPs, especially on DraftKings. | |||||||
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Diamond DeShields | CHI | DAL | 7000 | 24.1 | 5700 | 24.14 | |
| She is significantly cheaper than teammate Kahleah Copper on DK, which is why DeShields makes this list. I am fine playing Copper on FD, where she is cheaper than DeShields. Both Sky wings had been quite consistent until their entire team struggled against Connecticut. I expect them to bounce back, and while they may not have the upside of Kelsey Plum or Te'a Cooper, I think they could be better values. | |||||||

| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Liz Cambage | LV | LA | 10400 | 33.15 | 7400 | 33.69 | |
| Cambage is pretty cheap, especially on FanDuel, and she had 26 fantasy points in 20 minutes against Los Angeles in May. Cambage has topped 30 minutes in each of her last two games and if Los Angeles can keep this game close, Cambage could have a huge night. I'm not sure I trust her for cash, however, even at her price. | |||||||
| Brianna Turner | PHO | MIN | 8700 | 26.27 | 6600 | 27.32 | |
| Turner had 36 fantasy points in 35.2 minutes in her only game against Minnesota this season and while I don't really expect a repeat, it is nice to know she has that kind of upside. I think Turner is safer than Satou Sabally despite a tougher matchup and I will gladly pay a little bit more for that safety. | |||||||
| Stefanie Dolson | CHI | DAL | 5700 | 15.59 | 4400 | 15.52 | |
| Dolson has failed to top 16 fantasy points in five consecutive games, though it is not lost on me that all of those games were against Connecticut and New York. Prior to that streak, Dolson had three straight games with at least 21.5 fantasy points. I don't entirely trust her to bounce back, but her price may be too good to pass up. | |||||||
| Nia Coffey | LA | LV | 6800 | 19.98 | 5100 | 20.61 | |
| Coffey is basically a more-expensive version of Stefanie Dolson. Coffey's minutes are virtually guaranteed, and Las Vegas is 10th in fantasy points allowed to fowards. That being said, Coffey has reached 20 fantasy points just once in her last seven games, which makes it awfully difficult to trust her. | |||||||
| Candace Parker | CHI | DAL | 9900 | 31.53 | 8100 | 29.94 | |
| Parker has at least 31.5 fantasy points in six of her nine games this season, and two of her bad games were against Connecticut. This should be a much better matchup, and we are getting a nice discount on DraftKings. | |||||||
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Napheesa Collier | MIN | PHO | 11500 | 35.34 | 8000 | 36.11 | |
| I don't know why Collier is so cheap on FD, having scored at least 31 fantasy points in eight of her last nine games. I could be talked into paying up for her on DraftKings, but I don't know how you get away from using her on FanDuel. | |||||||
| Charli Collier | DAL | CHI | 4800 | 10.42 | 4000 | 10.21 | |
| Collier finally had a good again against Indiana Thursday only to have 8.25 fantasy points in 13 minutes against Washington Saturday. If any cheap player can outperform her price and win you a GPP it is Collier, but I wouldn't count on it. | |||||||
