UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs Parnasse. The UFC continues its run of international cards this week, with the fights taking place in France. The fights kick off at 12:00 PM ET on Paramount+, with the Main Card starting at 3:00PM. The Main Event features a fighter who is always in an action-packed fighter in Dan Hooker as he welcomes French prospect Salahdine Parnasse. Parnasse is a high-level kickboxer who leans into this fight and will be entertaining for as long as it lasts. Hooker continues to be the gatekeeper for any of the high-profile prospects that the UFC brings in at Lightweight. Hooker in his prime would have a shot in this fight, but his constant injuries and quick turnarounds lead me to believe they are setting up Parnasse in his home country. I see Parnasse using his speed advantage to get the KO in the first or second and making a big statement in his UFC debut. | |||||

Campbell is much cleaner, quicker, and well-versed, so he should be able to dominate the fight. Peek is unorthodox and has shown great durability, so if Campbell slows down again, he could get caught late, but he is so much better technically that he has to be a big favorite. | |||||

Keita is, again, much more technical and throws more volume than Naimov. It is a common theme on this card that the underdogs have power, but just don't throw enough, and this fight is no different. | |||||

Wood can land a ton of volume and even mix in takedowns. This fight just came together a few days ago, and his opponent is moving up a weight class. Wood should be able to dominate this fight anywhere he wants the fight to take place. | |||||

A heavyweight fight, so you know the variance is all over, but Spann has legitimately 4 minutes of cardio before he falls apart. If Pinto plays this smart, he'll wear down Spann in Round 1 using his wrestling and just dominate in Round 2 to get the KO. I'd have him rated higher if his opponent wasn't such a good Round 1 finisher. | |||||

He has a lot of power, but he does give up some size here. He will dominate Round 1 and possibly find the finish, but Puna is a step up in competition for him, so it'll be interesting to see how he deals with adversity later in the fight. | |||||

I've gone back and forth on this fight all week, but I think I lean Duclos. Although I am not confident in who wins this fight, I am confident that the winner scores well. This fight is -500 to not go to decision, so I'm going to lean toward the longer, taller fighter to get it done here. | |||||

Both of these fighters are making their UFC debut, so they are tough to tape study, but I lean towards Sintes in this matchup. His opponent was just dominated in a weird fight where he committed multiple fouls and lost the first four rounds, but a fluke weird knee that was ruled a lot blow but was actually a legal strike ended the fight in a No Contest. If Sintes wrestles at all, he can win this fight and score great on DK. | |||||

I'm not a Sygula fan; I think she is too easy to get hit, and she has bad takedown defense. We have seen Cornolle get the hometown decision in France before, and I don't expect anything different here.
