UFC Fight Night DFS Picks & Lineups: de Ridder vs Allen Cheat Sheet, 10/18
UFC Fight Night: De Ridder vs Allen takes place this Saturday live from Rogers Center in Toronto, Canada. The card kicks off with the Early Prelims at 6:00 PM EST on ESPN+, followed by the Prelims at 4:00 PM EST on ESPN+, and finally the Main Card at 7:00 PM EST on ESPN+ PPV. The Main Event is a key matchup for the Middleweight Title Picture in 2026, as both of these men can make a legitimate case to be the next in line to take on Khamzat Chimaev if they get their hands raised this Saturday.

MMA DFS Playbook for UFC Fight Night: De Ridder vs Allen
Main Event | |||||
Fighter(s) | Price | Opponent | Risk | Odds | ITD |
Reinier de Ridder vs Brendan Allen | 8800/7400 | - | Stackability: Low | -210/ 100 | 110./275. |
| A main event that could determine who gets their next shot at the 185 lb. title against Khamzat Chimaev. De Ridder has been incredible since he joined the UFC and he has been one of the most active fighters as well so we are quickly learning about his skills. RDR is the better grappler, and on the feet, he is tricky as well. Allen is on short notice so I don't think this fight goes the distance especially with how he gassed out in the past. I am going to be picking RDR this week to get the submission victory. | |||||

Expensive Fighters
Expensive | |||||
Fighter(s) | Price | Opponent | Risk | Odds | ITD |
| Drew Dober | 9400 | Kyle Prepolec | Somewhat-Safe | -480Â | -120Â |
| Dober always pushes a pace and has exciting fights. I normally don't like to pick high priced fighters who don't wrestle but I'm confident he gets it done this week by KO. | |||||
| Azamat Bekoev | 9100 | Yousri Belgaroui | Somewhat-Safe | -300Â | -110Â |
| I like to fade fighters who needed two chances on the Contender Series to make the UFC and Yousri is one of them. Bekoev can wrestle and has power, but he likely gets the KO. | |||||
| HyunSung Park | 9000 | Bruno Silva | Somewhat-Safe | -230Â | +110Â |
| Park is all submission and grappling, if this fight stays standing, he probably loses the fight. I don't love trusting a high-priced fighter who needs the fight on the ground but he is really good at getting it there. | |||||
| Danny Barlow | 9200 | Djorden Santos | Moderate | -320Â | -105Â |
| Barlow is a GPP play only. He is low volume, but with a nick name like "Left Hand 2 God" you know he has KO power. He's moving up to a weight class but that could help him have even more power. | |||||
| Charles Jourdain | 8700 | Davey Grant | Moderate | -170Â | -175 |
| After the top 3 in this range there is a huge drop off. Manot probably wins a decision, Luciano is very low level for a huge favorite so I ended on Jourdain. At 135lbs he is a bigger threat to use his striking, and his Achilles’ heel is normally the takedown defense but Grant doesn't really wrestle. I expect this to be a close fight, but if anyone wins by finish, I think it'll be Jourdain as Grant is getting older. | |||||

Mid-Range Fighters
Mid-Range | |||||
Fighter(s) | Price | Opponent | Risk | Odds | ITD |
| Matt Frevola | 8300 | Kyle Nelson | Moderate | -122 | 150. |
| This is the fight you have to get right this week. It is priced in the midrange and it likely ends in KO. Frevola is the better grappler, trains with Merab and Aljo Sterling, but he never uses his wrestling for some reason. I think Frevola gets it done but it is a true coinflip where the winner likely gets an early KO. | |||||
| Mike Malott | 8200 | Kevin Holland | Moderate | -125 | 165. |
| This is another high variance fight where both fighters have a chance for the finish. Malott is more well-rounded and a better wrestler so he should be the one dictating where the fight takes place. Holland is a mystery since sometimes he comes into the cage looking unmotivated. | |||||
| Cody Gibson | 8600 | Aori Aoriqileng | Somewhat-Risky | -168 | 275. |
| I like Gibson's well-rounded game and I think he could mix in wrestling here. I don't like this fight to finish as much as the first two in this range but Gibson could land decent volume even in a decision. | |||||
| Melissa Croden | 7800 | Tainara Lisboa | Somewhat-Risky | -128 | 275. |
| Croden has the size here but this is a low-level greasy fight. At her price as a favorite and $7800 she should get decent ownership. Even in a loss I see her scoring 30-40 pts. | |||||
| Kyle Nelson | 7900 | Matt Frevola | Somewhat-Risky | 100 | 200. |
| His ceiling is as high as Frevola, I just don't think he wins. I have a bet on this fight to end by KO so I'm expecting a big score from someone. | |||||
| Marlon Vera | 7700 | Aiemann Zahabi | Somewhat-Risky | 106Â | 600 |
| This fight is going to be a striking fight, but with the favorite at +1000 to win inside the distance he doesn't make sense to play. Vera normally starts slow but he admitted this week he has been working on it. I think he should be able to win Rounds 2/3 and get the decision but his ceiling isn't as high as other fighters. | |||||
| Kevin Holland | 8000 | Mike Malott | Risky | -102 | 175. |
| Holland can win by KO or submission and he has had a long layoff in his standards (only 3 months but for someone who fights 5 times a year that is pretty long). You never know which version of him is going to come in but if he keeps it at distance and pushes a pace he could gas Malott out. | |||||

Paydown Fighters
Pay-Downs | |||||
Fighter(s) | Price | Opponent | Risk | Odds | ITD |
| Davey Grant | 7500 | Charles Jourdain | Somewhat-Risky | 138 | 500. |
| Grant has power, but both of these fighters are durable. I like Grant as an underdog but he always fights close fights so expect the judges to lean towards Jourdain as the hometown favorite. | |||||
| Jasmine Jasudavicius | 7300 | Manon Fiorot | Somewhat-Risky | 186 | 650. |
| She has a very tough matchup here but if she wins, she has to land 2-3 takedowns AT MINIMUM so you know if you get a win you'll get a good score. I don't see her winning but she has a good floor at her price. | |||||
| Bruno Silva | 7200 | HyunSung Park | Risky | 184 | 400. |
| I like Silva and have a bet down on him already. Park is a good wrestler and great submission artist but has shown he can be dropped by strikes before. Silva is on a two-fight losing streak but it was against Joshua Van who is fighting for the title, and Manel Kape who is one win away from being next in line for the shot. | |||||
| Djorden Santos | 7000 | Danny Barlow | Risky | 245Â | +350Â |
| I don't love Santos’ chin or striking, but Barlow is low volume so he could get outworked here. If Santos lands 70-80 significant strikes, he should be able to win the fight, he just needs to survive the power coming back at him. | |||||
| Yousri Belgaroui | 7100 | Azamat Bekoev | Risky | 235 | 400. |
| I'm probably fading Yousri this week because of the respect I have for Bekoev. I don't see him winning this fight this week. | |||||
| Ravena Oliveira | 6900 | Stephanie Luciano | Risky | 240 | 600. |
| Oliviera is making her second walk to the UFC octagon and looking back at her past opponents it is very hard to figure out how she got here. Her last 5 opponents before the UFC are on a current 0-17 losing streak so she is fighting the absolute worst competition I have ever seen on tape. I don't think she belongs in the UFC. | |||||
| Kyle Prepolec | 6800 | Drew Dober | Risky | 350 | 650. |
| Dober at his best ends this fight early, but he has been losing his chin lately which is scary for someone who likes to trade strikes in the pocket. I guess he has a high ceiling because if he wins it'll be by KO but I don't see him getting that done. | |||||
