UFC Fight Night Predictions & Betting Picks: Cannonier vs. Imavov - Saturday, 6/8

The main event will be a thrilling clash between Jared Cannonier and Nassourdine Imavov, two top middleweights. Cannonier is looking to make a comeback after his exciting fight with Marvin Vettori last year. In the co-main event, Dominick Reyes will take on Dustin Jacoby, a skilled kickboxer.

UFC Fight Night Best Bet - Jared Cannonier vs. Nassourdine Imavov: Cannonier ML +100

Cannonier has more power, better wrestling and has shown he can go for five full rounds against top level opponents. In his last fight, Cannonier landed 200+ strikes and 4 takedowns, so if Imavov can deal with that pace, I’ll be shocked. I think it goes to decision but I’ll just take the even money on the more experienced fighter.

UFC Fight Night Prediction - Dom Reyes vs. Dustin Jacoby: Reyes ML +200

Reyes has fought the higher level of competition and with some much-needed time off, I think he gets the win here. I would line this fight closer to even and getting +200 on a fighter who has gone toe-to-toe with Jon Jones and now taking a major step back in competition, I’m going to back him in this spot every time.

 

 

 

UFC Fight Night Pick - Raul Rosas vs. Ricky Turcios: Rosas ITD +150

Rosas is still extremely young and making major improvements fight-to-fight and I think he is really going to push for a finish here. I expect it to be a submission as Turcios has been durable, but his submission line is only +200 so I’m not going to risk it for only 50 pts of value. Rosas should be in control and on the ground for the entirety of the first round and I think he gets us an early submission.

UFC Fight Night Best Bet At Long Odds: Julian Marquez By Submission +500

Marquez has multiple submission wins on his record, and Reese is a kill-or-be-killed fighter, so I want to play something here to go inside the distance. In his career, Marquez has about as many KOs as he does submissions, but since entering the UFC, his only finishes have come via submission. With his KO line being juiced to +175 here, I’m going to take the longshot bet.
