UFC Fight Night returns this Saturday with a high-stakes welterweight showdown as former UFC champion Belal Muhammad takes on rising contender Gabriel Bonfim in a matchup that could have major implications in the division's title picture.

Muhammad remains one of the most consistent and well-rounded fighters at 170 pounds, using relentless pressure, elite cardio, and wrestling to break opponents over five rounds. Bonfim enters as one of the division's most dangerous young talents, possessing explosive finishing ability both on the feet and on the mat.

With several intriguing betting opportunities throughout the card, UFC bettors have no shortage of angles to attack this weekend's event.

UFC Fight Night Predictions & Picks: Saturday, June 6th

Belal Muhammad vs. Gabriel Bonfim — Pick: Belal Muhammad Moneyline

Belal has clean striking and powerful wrestling to go along with top-tier cardio.  He has proven himself against some of the best strikers like Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and top wrestlers like Sean Brady that he is willing to do whatever it takes to win a fight.  His biggest advantage here is his cardio, so look for him to push a pace early and preferably use his wrestling to drain the tank of Bonfim.  While Belal isn’t a finisher, there is a saying that “tired people tap,” and with Belal showing he can land 9 takedowns against Leon Edwards or 125+ significant strikes against Gilbert Burns, I see Bonfim getting tired.  I’m picking him to win. I am also looking for him to win in Round 3/4/5 by Submission, which pays a massive +1800!

  • Best Bet: Belal Muhammad Moneyline

Iwo Baraniewski vs Junior Tafa

Most people are going to look at Iwo’s run of 3 KOs in under 2.5 minutes total and assume he wins this fight by KO. Iwo is a high-level grappler, and he admitted in his last fight that the game plan was to wrestle, but he KO’d his opponent on the first punch.  Against a kickboxer of Tafa’s skill level, his best chance is to get the early takedown to drain Tafa’s gas tank. Eventually, he’ll be able to find the submission on the ground.

  • Best Bet: Baraniewski by submission +330

Priscilla Cachoeira vs Chelsea Chandler

Cachoeira always brings a pace and violence to her fights. She averages nearly 4.5 significant strikes per minute, which may not sound like a lot, but if you account for the 11 minutes she was on her back against Jasmine Jasudavicius and 9 minutes against Miranda Maverick, you realize she is throwing a lot more volume when she is given the chance to keep a fight standing.  She was recently awarded a brown belt in BJJ and has been training with the G.O.A.T of women’s MMA, Amanda Nunes, so she is still constantly improving. If this stays standing, she should be able to outwork. I’m tempted to take a stab at Cachoeira by submission, but Chandler is coming off a KO loss and was knocked down by Yana Santos two fights back, so her chin is questionable at best.

  • Best Bet: Cachoeira by KO +220
