UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs. Kavanagh — Main Card Picks

Brandon Moreno vs. Kavanagh (Main Event)

Moreno’s biggest advantages are pace, durability, and championship composure. He mixes his boxing combinations with level changes beautifully and tends to get stronger as fights progress. Over five rounds, that layered offense becomes difficult to deal with.

Kavanagh likely holds the edge in raw explosiveness early. He’ll need to manage distance, land clean counters, and potentially hurt Moreno within the first three rounds to shift momentum. If he allows Moreno to dictate tempo, the volume and pressure could pile up quickly.

Moreno’s ability to mix in takedowns makes me lean towards him breaking Kavanagh and finding the late submission.

Ailin Perez vs Macy Chiasson

Perez is the better wrestler, and while Chiasson has the pure strength advantage, she is giving up the technique edge to Perez.  There aren’t many close fights on the card, but this is one of them with close odds that make sense. Perez should be able to win at least two rounds with her wrestling.

King Green vs Daniel Zellhuber

Green is someone who is tough to trust, but if you are going to take a shot on him, it should be when he is an underdog.  He is giving up the reach to Zellhuber, but he has good boxing, and when he is on point, he can strike with most of the division.  Zellhuber has shown questionable fight IQ, so he could always slip up and give Green the opportunity he needs.  Green probably wins this fight 40% of the time, but at his huge odds, that makes for a good bet.
