UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Nolan takes place this weekend in Las Vegas, with a lightweight main event headlining the card. Renato Moicano looks to get back into the win column against rising contender Tom Nolan, who enters the biggest fight of his UFC career riding a five-fight winning streak. Nolan will be looking to use his size, reach, and striking to overcome the experience and grappling advantages that Moicano brings into this matchup.

The co-main event features an interesting welterweight matchup between Randy Brown and Jacobe Smith, as both fighters look to make a statement in a competitive division.

The event streams live on Paramount+ in the United States, with prelims beginning at 5:00 PM ET and the main card getting underway at 8:00 PM ET.

UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Nolan Predictions

Renato Moicano vs. Tom Nolan

Pick: Renato Moicano

Moicano has so much more experience and much better grappling. As long as he avoids the power of Nolan, this is his fight to win. I don’t think this sees the judges' scorecards, so I’m going with the easy ground game win by Moicano.

  • Prediction: Moicano by Submission +175

Randy Brown vs. Jacobe Smith

Pick: Randy Brown

Brown is another crafty veteran facing a rising prospect. Smith has more pure power, but I think Brown has the footwork and length to keep this competitive. Smith was just wobbled in his last fight against an opponent who has shown little power, so Brown could definitely KO him here. At long odds, I think that makes sense as the best play for this fight.

  • Prediction: Brown by KO +350

Yana Santos vs. Luana Santos

Pick: Yana Santos

Yana is going to throw volume; Luana is going to try for control.  Yana has dealt with much better competition, so she should be able to deal with Luana holding her against the fence. Whenever there is space between the fighters, I expect Yana to get the best of the exchanges. As long as the judges aren’t rewarding holding down opponents and not attempting to deal damage, I expect Yana to win a decision.

  • Prediction: Yana Santos ML +260
