UFC 329 Predictions & Picks

Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway

  • Pick: Max Holloway

This is a great rematch between two of the best strikers the UFC has ever seen.  I personally line Max Holloway closer to -400, and if he wasn’t at 170lbs for the first time in his career, I might even go higher.  Conor has never had cardio, and I expect that to continue to be the case.  This fight will have a competitive Round 1, but after that, I expect Max to take over this fight and find the finish before the start of the 4th round.  If I had to pick a round, I would take Max in Round 2.

  • Best Bet: Max Holloway by KO -120, Max by KO in Round 1,2, or 3 +160

Benoit St. Denis vs Paddy Pimblett

This is a great stylistic matchup as St. Denis is all action from the start, especially looking to use his power wrestling, while Paddy is someone who can wear you down over time.  St. Denis is going to have the early advantage and could look like a massive favorite in round 1 like he did against Dustin Poirier, but if Paddy survives (and he has in every fight), his volume and durability should take over.  Paddy just went to war with the current champion, Justin Gaethje, and actually outlanded him in that fight.  I don’t think it will be an easy fight for either man, but I see Paddy getting his hand raised as the small underdog.

  • Best Bet: Paddy Moneyline +136

Terrance McKinney vs King Green

Both of these men have KO power, and while both do have submission upside, this really looks like a spot where both men will show off their striking.  McKinney has about five minutes of cardio before the wheels completely come undone and he becomes a sitting duck.  His best chance to win this fight would be to try to land big early and get a quick KO.  If Green survives, he should be able to find a quick KO.

  • Best Bet: Fight to end in KO -190

How To Bet on My UFC 329 Picks at DraftKings

MMA betting is often determined more by stylistic matchups than overall records. Some of the most popular betting markets include:

  • Moneyline
  • Method of Victory (KO/TKO, Submission, Decision)
  • Round Totals (Over/Under)
  • Same Game Parlays
  • Live Betting

Live betting can be especially valuable during McGregor fights, as early momentum often creates significant line movement after the opening round.
