  • David Onama to win +120.

Why?

  • David Onama can take damage better than Garcia and has shown that his durability and recovery are some of the best in the division.  If this fight takes place on the ground, it’ll be because Onama wants it there.  This should be a close fight, but I’m taking the small dog.

Cortes-Acosta vs Delija

Prediction

  • Waldo Cortes-Acosta to win +120

Why?

  • Delija is a big-time prospect and training partner of Tom Aspinal, but Cortes-Acosta has faced some of the best fighters in the division.  Both of these men are massive, so that should be even.  While Delija is a better wrestler, we don’t know if his cardio can go into round 2/3, while Cortes-Acosta has proven multiple times that he can go the distance.  I’m betting Cortes-Acosta to win and a small bet on him to win by KO in Round 2/3.

Isaac Dulgarian vs Yadier del Valle

Prediction

  • Isaac Dulgarian to win in Round 1 +250

Why?

  • Isaac is a great wrestler and pushes a great pace in the first round, but he tends to tire going for the finish.  If Isaac doesn’t get the finish in the first round, I’ll be nervous that his cardio won’t last, so I wouldn’t be betting him at the -250 money line price tag that is available.
