For those not familiar with the +3.5, it is basically giving the fighter those points if the fight goes to the judges, so if the fight was 29-28, 29-28, 29-28 for Zalal, Emmett would still get the win since he only lost by 3 total points.  He is an experienced fighter who should be able to have a few minutes and steal a round or two in this spot.

Ankalaev has the tools to win this fight — and keep the belt — by staying disciplined and avoiding a firefight. But the safest bet is that this one ends before the final horn.
